Woodenhead

Hi there.

Has anyone else heard of this movie: Woodenhead (dir. Florian Habicht)? I just saw it; it's one of the most beautiful movies I've seen. Go to the site and watch the trailer, and listen to the soundtrack there (gorgeous, original music): woodenhead-movie

Seriously original, bizarre, brave, GORGEOUS film. From New Zealand. A warped fairytale about a guy named Gert who works in a dumpster and travels with the lovely Princess Plum through a musical forest to a carnival on the beach. All about good/evil, beautiful/ugly, pleasure/pain.

I'm into foreign/indie films (and fairytales, hehe), so if anyone else has similar interests, they should at least go to the site. Also, if anyone's in nyc it'll be shown June 2-15 at Quad. I, for one, can't wait. Movie nite, anyone?
