Now, Diabolical :: Satyricon :: CD Review
Now, Diabolical - the follow up to "Volcano" (2002 LP) was released 06/13/06, but I just got around to listening to it about 50 or so times. So now I can give a good review :).
Vox: Satyr gives a good overall performance. Its not as dark/heavy, but still good! 4/5
Guitars: Simplistic, catchy, rockin. Satyr did a good job on abusing the strings. 4.25/5
Drums: Rough, and fast. Frost, man, frost is good at doing what he does. And thats thrashing on drums. The drums seem to lose pace every now and then, but its still incredible awesome. 3.75/5
Bass: Thrashy, rock-n-rollesque. Satyr did good abusing them strings again! 3.5/5
Overall: 4.75/5
Now I'll break it down....
If you like a little black metal with you're rock and roll, you're going to love this "Black'n'Roll" music. Its got all of the black metal basics, mixed with the catchyness of rock.
So go out today, and BUY IT! :thumb:

meh, Satyrcon lost theri fire awhile ago, i liked this album better than volcano but it was still was still kind of boring and lacks much of the intensity that made satyrcon good in the first place.
