Re: Mohawks of Distinction
I just had a hawk relapse. I tried the full head of hair again but I nearly died of heatstroke. The valley is brutal....hopefully my little red and black one can be considered "distinct."
I already had some old fart at the 99cent store scream "JESUS FUCKING CHRIST" when he saw it.
Re: Mohawks of Distinction
I just got rid of mine because i was too lazy to make it stand up, skinhead is the way to go

Figured this was a distinct enough Mohawk to get a comment.
Re: Mohawks of Distinction
2001: Aliant Ant Farm releases the video for their cover of "Smooth Criminal". In it is a few shots of a guy with a mohawk made of forks. Original 'hawk of the decade.
I've sported this at a few concerts. I don't want to shave my head (I look kind of racist when I do that...) but I don't want to be like every military wannabe-metal poser and throw up a normal fauxhawk.

2002 and beyond: The hairdo is mostly sported by drunk college kids in polo shirts who refer to all of the people on the above list as "fags."

Not around here. Around here, there are well over 10,000 university students, and only a handful of Mohawk haircuts -- most of which are worn by fags (myself included).
