New member blues...

Well, I just registered, so I guess I should follow the law and introduce myself.
I'm Mitch, a punk rock fan and hardcore kid from Oklahoma, who spends most of his time either at local shows, skating, or hanging around rocking the video-game scene with my buddies. I'm an aspiring writer, and I'm hoping to make my way in the world by writing for comics, or even doing a webcomic. Right now I'm just recovering from a wicked nasty cold, and as such am stuck with the sniffles and a little bit of a cough. Oh, I have a mohawk too. That's like +10 points of awesome. So yeah. Discuss.

you must've missed the memo mowhawks are +7 points, dreads have recently become +10 however Voldtas dreads are +30, maybe you should have him make you some!

We just got back from exhibiting at the Comic Con and I think I'm still kinda dehydrated. I'm going to have to agree that mohawks get the higher + than dreads.

Third..i have to agree that i like mohawks more than dreads heh..weird eh? (hence my tubing-hawk lol) If i could do mohawk extensions it would be awesome..but instead i do what pays the bills. Oh well.. not everybody likes it here and i probably spam my crap too much where everybody is sick of seeing it lol.. but +1 billion points for the future of putting up with me :)

Some awesome bands a from Oklahoma. Destroyer Destroyer and Someplace To Hide. Ever have a chance to catch either live???

I've seen some flyers for Destroyer Destroyer, probably seen 'em live, but I don't know for sure. The main guys I'm into up here are Up To No Good. Those guys put on the best live show, period.

I'm gonna disagree. a mohawk screams effort. whereas with dreads, you cna just lie in the gutter drinking a beer and eventually they will just happen and you can say "fuck the world, I don't care". much more punk rock.
