Re: yay for stupid people
You're not the first person I've met online or elsewhere whose parents (and other folks) have made remarks about just because of your makeup and the way you dress.
Fact of the matter is, you'd be pretending you're somebody that you're not if you dressed any differently. If it works for you, then who gives a flying fuck what people think?
*giggles* and the tutu incident does sound rather amusing. But go you for reminding the principal about the lack of pants being the issue, not the tutu itself. ;)
Just keep doing your thing. :)

In a way I kinda agree...I think what you are wearing is fine, if you like it then its good. but at the same time, you have to expect people to be the morons they are, and by not being a cookie cutter the bs and remarks kinda come with the territory. So props to you for dealing with peoples shit, but dont expect it to end anytime soon:rolleyes:
Re: yay for stupid people
Oh man I went to school one day with this HUGE upside down cross from under my right eye, and the principal pulled me aside and threatened to send me home. haha. I was like "Whatev."
Re: yay for stupid people
Whenever I get comments about my clothes or whatever I comeback with...
"Thankyou for proving to the world that you are a moronic sheep"
Whatever they say after that I respond with...
"Baaaaaaaaa, Baaaaaaaaa..." etc.
When they finally ask why I am "Baaaa"ing at them I tell them that i'm trying to communicate in their language. At that point I walk away and if they try to say anything I continue "Baaaaa"ing. It usually either confounds them or if they do get it then they get offended.
Re: yay for stupid people
yeah, i used to get that crap back when i was in hiskool too.... then i started dressing like an IRS agent, and people shut the fuck up fast, apparently i'm way scarier when i try to blend in :1orglaugh
Re: yay for stupid people

yes, true.
as i said, i expect it.
but after they've all seen it everyday for the past like 2 years.
i'd thought they had gotten all the retarded comments out of them
but appearantly no.
so i felt like ranting.
Re: yay for stupid people
heh .... a school with all the grades. That must be a real small town you live in
the horror...the horror
Re: yay for stupid people
Nah, people are just dicks all of the time. Generally, I've found that if you actually confront people about the shit they say, they'll back down 95% of the time, until they eventually just give the fuck up on bothering you.
Re: yay for stupid people
gha... why would you want to dress like everyone else? all the girls in my high school dressed like whores :S NO i dont want to wear capri pants to fucking tight i end up getting a cameltoe... NO i dont want to show off my tits right thru my shirt to everyone in school... ew...
people used to laugh at the crazy pants i would wear, and id just kinda laugh at them behind their back, cause like switchkitten says... THEY ALL ARE THE SAME SHEEP!!... basically.
and i had this army jacket i used to wear every day cause it was comfy as hell and just warm enough to keep me cozy... and this fuckin dude used to call me commando steve... god knows why haha... so one day for halloween i showed up dressed in full camo clothes with a lipstick/black powdered eyeshadow bullethole in my head HAH... (i killed comando steve) still wore the army jacket tho... comffeeyyyyyy...
need to make more pants... *runs to the thrift store and the cheap fabric store* muhahaa...
Re: yay for stupid people
sometimes you have to know how much is too much for certain situations. you've said before how small the town is that you are from & how horribly your parents treat you... i would think that maybe you'd try to stay under the radar a little bit for the time being. no offense. but yeah.
i was known in high school for pushing the limits of what i could wear without being too ostentatious (never was much on the makeup)... i remember two instances where i totally flaunted convention. after my sophomore year the school never had another "wacky tacky day", they can all thank me. at 15 i saw that as an open invitation to wear thigh highs, a skirt that was fingertip length if i pulled it all the way down on my hips, and a lab coat. oh, and i put orange in my hair, which stayed for ages. most people just wore a plaid shirt with a polka dot skirt or something. hee hee. i also remember a particular day in the same year when a friend and i each wore white pants with a size XL green jersey-styled shirt by the porn star clothing company. on the front it said PORN STAR with a giant 69 under it. oh yes, it was a day for double takes & lots of yelling.
Re: yay for stupid people
My mom used to call me Satan's Whore when ever i was dressed. Heck i was going ot regestration at school wearing a silver fitted t and a black denim skirt and she told me i looked like the Devil's Harlot. I would quietly mutter under my breath soemthing aobut not speaking ill of your brother and wait till i got outside to pull up my fishnets. My favourite wa steh morning hollers from that woman about my eylner " you are not Cleopatra, take off the tails." my dad never said anything ot me, he just shook his head and went back to what he was doing.
It's okay kiddo, either they'll get sick of being ignored or you'll eventually move out either way it doesn't last.
