I'm so proud of me
i quit a job with out punching anybody out! But yelling at the dishwasher for waiting tables when the waiter fails at his job and then less than an hr later being yelled at for not waiting tabels. The 'I'll tell you when you're busy" was the straw that broke the camel's back.
If he wants a waitress hire a waitress if he wants a dishwasher he knows my number, in the mean time I quit!

Re: I'm so proud of me
guess that changes our other conversation about a third job!
Money is money but it only buys your time, not the right to abuse it. If they can't appreciate their staff they don't deserve to have any - and by the sounds of it that's the way it's going to play!
Since our Birthday Girl's going to be in a good mood, maybe now's the time to push the idea of the Blue Blood Restaurant chain.. OK it may have a little problem opening in Iowa, but Chicken McFetish has a good ring to it...

Live the dream. Some of us dream of being able to do that sort of thing.

Re: I'm so proud of me
at my previous job the AC is in the mall. So on sundays when they open at seven and the mall opens at noon it would be hotter thna all blazes in there till about quarter till. I brought in a fan to blow throught hte dishroom and cool things down a little from the 100* it would be in there. When I left yesterday, i forgot it. So today before ten, remember the AC doesn't kick on till 11:45am, i went in, took back my fan and left. Didn't say anything to any one, no snide comments here or there and no punches thrown. I'm getting better at this... *sniff* no practice being mean.
