You'd want to be sure she was ok with it first. Also, a lot of times people will say they are but aren't. Your call.

Someone "knowing" about the infidelity makes it more of an open relationship in my eyes. Whether the person who isn't having outside relations is also demonstrating this behavior or not isn't necessarily the point, that's what they are involved in.Why people continue to stay with an unfaithful man/woman is beyond me but at the same time it isn't my problem or my business.I don't put up with that type of arrangement. I suppose it has something to do with low self-esteem?? Many people are just drawn to fuckups. Shit Magnets as my friend Jim says.

right, the "cheat" isn't neccesarily the act of going behind someone's back, it's the fact that you are commited to a monogamous relationship, and then you break that agreement with your partner.
now if you always said that your intentions were to possibley see other people, and that's the arangement of your relationship, then you're not going against your intentions and misleading your partner, and it's not cheating.
if you said that, but your partner didn't feel the same way, then it's still not cheating, but it's also a pretty pointless relationshop and you should question why you want to be involved with someone that isn't in it for the same reasons you are.

aproach it easy and find out how she feels about your relationship and being true to only each other it might pay to be cautious
You have to be careful. Set definate rules about what's allowed. Even if she says it's ok (maybe she's only saying it because you want it), make sure you are both either secure in your relationship, or just together for fun so it doesn't matter.
