Re: Anyone Had a Cortisone Shot?
yup i had few in the knee, it helps alot .
its nothing compared to a spine block , just alittle pain at first and then sweet relief.
then only last bout 3 months but that depends on the patient gettin the shot.
and you can really only get so many (shots) in a year span.
hope that helps
Re: Anyone Had a Cortisone Shot?
ive never had one done myself but know people who have and theyve seemed to help quite a bit. Just rest your knee for a little bit afterwards to give it time to work. the things doctors can do.
Re: Anyone Had a Cortisone Shot?
Yea I had one in my knee, felt like a million bucks. Forgot all about it ever hurting........ untill it wore off, then life SUCKED. Ended up having knee surgery (Navy did the surgery) and now it is not any better. I just have ALT less cartilage in it. I have heard about cartilage transplants, I would like to find some more info about this as both kness hurt like hell anymore.
The price you pay for racing moto cross, and jumping out of planes.

I had it in my shoulder. Unfortunately it did nothing so I had surgery instead. But I got a few cool scars, so I came out on top.
