Your old pal Rockwulf is called heroic.
So at 5AM Sunday, I'm awoken by my building's fire alarm. It's one of the really loud ones with the strobe lights that makes you wake up feeling like you're under fuckin' attack.
I throw my robe on and join the people coming down the steps and we start making sure everyone is accounted for. There are 7 apartments in my building and 2 were missing. One has two girls in it and the other has a couple newlyweds. I went to the girls' apartment first and start pounding on the door. After a minute one of the girls comes out and tells me that if I hadn't been pounding on her door, she never would have woken up. Then I head down to the other unresponsive apartment and pound on their door. After a minute there was no answer, so I shouldered the door open, splintering the frame. I charged in to check the place out and there was nobody inside, and no fire, but all their clocks were blinking 12, so it would seem whatever surged the power originated in their apartment. It turned out to be a flase alarm but if it hadn't I may have saved at least one life.

Well, one wasn't in the apartment at the time and as for the other one, I'm sure her boyfriend thinks so.:mad:
