Terry Gilliam vs. hollywood.

so Terry Gilliam's new movie 'Tideland' is being ***** by the reviewers they're calling it career suicide, and can't seem to help but point out what commerical faliures his pervious movies have been.

to be certain, by all accounts it is not an easy movie, and was never meant to be, but these reviews i've read so far go well beyond vindictive.

personally i'd rather see Gilliam make a thousand 'bad' movies over the pablum puke that hollywood spews out each year. i'm mean fuckin' c'mon, my neighborhood here in NYC is completely fouled up with the lastest shite from will smith...

Gilliam doesn't give a fuck what hollywood thinks, and they're trying to destroy him for it. i'm going to have to go see 'Tideland' today, because i don't think it'll be around in a week or two.

shit they're making the meanspirited prediction that he'll never make another movie, which would royally piss me off. (i don't think that's ture, though.) god damn. i'm offended!
