Hair CUT... again.....

So I have been struggling with my hair forever now. Ever since I got it cut off in Mexico, I have been really unhappy with it.....

First it was just above shoulder length, and I hated it. I looked like someone's mom. Like the mini-van kinda mom, too, not a cool mom.

Then I cut it into my long desired mohawk, which I loved.... except it took like 2 hours to put up cause I have so much hair. I have a decieving amount of hair, it's thin but there's tons of it.

After going to 3 hairstylists and leaving with the exact same mohawk, I finally decided to go to my friend Kim's hairdresser, on account of her hair always lookig great. Aside from the fact that her hair was way more hipster-ish than I wanted, that is.

So finally I have a hair cut I like. It's still hawked but she cut a bunch of my hair out so it's thinner and now I can stand it up easier, plus it looks less muppet-y when it is down :-) So yay :-)

fine hair+mohawk=pain in butt.

never bothered to put mine up. too much hassle.

Where in mexico did you get your hair cut (I'm praying it was in Tj)? That sounds like a story all by it self.

Haha I was in San Luis Potosi in Mexico. I was spelunking down there.... my hair was braided into pig tails. When I was repelling into a cave my hair got caught in the rope. There was no way to get it out and so the team I was with lowered me down a rope and I cut my hair off, then and there, hanging on a rope. Then I threw the pig tail at one of the other people and cried. To this day I think there actually was a way to get my hair out and that the team leader just wanted to make an example of me. So I am a little bitter about it, and I miss my hair. But it's kinda liberating not to have it, at the same time.....

Wow thats crazy heh.

But yay for mohawk. I shall have one by May for sure. but I want to have my hair long and done all fanciful for my schools prom.

*sniffle* I miss my hawk. You, on the other hand, miss Scar would look simply amazing in a Hawk. Amelia, Forrest! We need Pictures!

What is spelunking? What does repelling into a cave mean? Gosh I think I have been living in Manhattan too long...

I guess its not something you would do at Saks Fifth Avenue, right?

basically its what it sounds like... you go inside a cave underground and *mountain climb up and down (spelunking)* along the sides of the rocks.

Its fun stuff ;)
