This is Mimi, the first cat to give birth to puppies, her owner claims.

Brazilian Cassia Aparecida de Souza, 18, says three of the cat’s six offspring, which were born three months after Mimi mated with a neighbour’s dog, have canine traits.

A geneticist from the Passo Fundo University plans to take blood samples from the animals to verify the claim

They're a close enough species that they can get a fertillized zygote. They have postzygotic problems like hybrid infertility (the offspring can't mate) or hybrid breakdown where the offpsring is healthy but ITS offspring are weak/deformed.


A horse can breed with a donkey (because they're so closely related) and make a Mule, but the mule is infertile for example.

Canines and Felines are completely different species so it doesent work for them.

So if what you are saying is true, then Humans can breed with pigs.. cause we are a close match to them.

No...we're not close to pigs..we're a completely different species. Humans can breed with different humans.....Canines with different canines (why a wolf can breed with a chihuaha), a Horse with a Donkey, a Tiger with a Lion. They're all part of the same species they just look different.

And we already have Human/Pig hybrids. There's actualy quite a variety of animal/human hybrids. Go walk outside and try to list as many as you can!

It's just as well humans can't breed with just anything. Though I imagine it'd make furries happy. Until they realized that human/wolf hybrids would drooling retards whose backs and legs would be so twisted movement would be impossible and would just crap themselves all day.

Of course, that may bring forth a new fetish.

I thought so too originally but looked it up on dictionary to make sure

I learnt in biology that a mule is the hybrid of a donkey and a horse. They have similar features to a donkey, such as their head and long ears, but they have the long legs of a horse.
