** no longer accepts sets with alternative makeup. Yeah. They just denied my last set and their reasoning was "most people perfer toned down natural makeup" on the site from now on. You know how after you look at a set on there you have to click "I loved it" or "Not my thing"? Yeah that must be how they are rating it. True, the magority of people do not like Gothic/Punk makeup. But isn't that was the site was orginally about? Being the alternative of pin-up? Apprently not anymore. They just want scenesters and emo chicks with some brown eyeshadow and a few crappy skull tattoos or a tiny fairy on their ankle.

never cared for that site. it always appeared pretty fake to me to begin with.

Yeah before I found BB ******* *'s where the thing. Now every single one looks exactly the same. Nauticle star tattoos, and general lame/clone-ness all around.

I don't know what you're talking about. maybe because this is a BLUE BLOOD site, not the other guys? maybe you should post it on thier forum. I mean I'm not trying to shoo you away or discourage people from talking about shit, but I don't really know what we are supposed to do about it.

sorry for the double post, but I just thought of something more constructive. maybe you could show us some examples of what you mean, and we could tell you which one we prefer?

I'm not certain they would like to see their content posted here, particularly as an example supporting any sort of editorial complaint, just as I would not particularly like to see my pictures posted over there (nor do I think that would even be allowed on their end).

Eh . . . the site gives me an icky feeling. especially with all the jazz I've been reading . . . I dont know . . .

But I wont hate on it TOO much cause it was the first alt. or whatever site that I came across

I meant more along the lines of the thread starter/anyone else having this issue showing thier pictures. I'm not sure exactly where to draw the line on the intellectual property law because I don't know the situation between photographer(s) and contracts in this case. Yeah, i'm not suggesting that anyone go over There or Here and start copying pictures fron the pages. I just know that people post thier own pictures on here from time to time asking our opinion, and that's what I had in mind.

I guess I was just thinking of this as an issue of "which make up style" is the prefered one, and not so much about a specific company, which I don't really want to talk about as stated in my first post.

Personally off topic, i think chick here just posted enough posts to spam the boards until she could post links and ads. I could be wrong but she was actively posting up until she posted her two ad's and then took off.

Oh yeah, I'm all for people posting cool creative makeup styles they are trying out over here, that sounds fun. But obviously 'is it right for so-and-so's site?', well, I agree with your earlier post that that's not really our business. FetishDolly does some cool creative makeup and cool creative looks and we totally support that.

MySpaz is becoming stupid(er). I can't believe they turned down a set due to make-up! I've seen people with ZOMBIE make-up on there, so what is so bad about a little "going out/theatrical/modelling make-up? Are they complete numb-skull bam-pots? By denying photos on the make-up, they are risking losing a lot of their members. They don't allow nudity due to kids being able to view profiles, but this is taking censorship to a whole other level!

I worked for them for a long time. the site was cool at first, and I mean that whole heartedly. I am still friends with most of the original girls since I was one of the original girls myself..... I was just talking to some one about the lack of originality and general genericness of the girls there now. I think S.S. is either A looking to sell the site, or when the girls archive he can resell thier pics. withsuch generic girls, he would have alot of content buyers. more so than when he sold off my pics; and to a wider market ..... just my thoughts on the whole thing.
