3/4 month late introduction
Out of boredom, presuming anyone cares, I figured I'd introduce myself.
I'm Jane, I was attracted to this site because I found BlueBlood on *******, and I love the photography.
I'm currently into lingerie and or nude modeling, which was initially fueled by a desire to become a "SuicideGirl". However, my soul is worth more than $500 and a pair of SG panties, so thus far I've applied at a couple of different sites (blueblood included), and I'll see if that takes me anywhere. It's a fun hobby, none-the-less.
I'm always searching for new creative outlets, such as the one I previously mentioned. I'm considering taking up photography, and I eventually intend to create costumes, for fun, rather than sale, I think. Can't draw worth anything, and I'm a fairly average musician, despite the fact that I'm majoring in music.
I have an opinion on almost everything, and tend to speak my mind whether or not I know a lot about a subject. Feel free to educate me...also, know that I'm rarely intending to be rude, so I'm probably not trying to offend you.
I suppose that's plenty to know for now, the rest you can find out!

Inner monologues are far overrated. Inner dialogs are a LOT more fun. The people who have more than just one extra voice in their head, though, they're just lucky.

Also, I was warned within an inch of my life by another working model that the Suicide Girls will screw you in contract negotiations if you don't watch them closely. I've not personally dealth with them, so I'm not sure whether this is truth or bitterness. I'm trying like hell to get into the whole modeling thing too, but I've got no clue where to start. Any advice?

i am very new at this game and haven't got the foggiest where to start, to be quite honest. good thing is that i know enough to have people looking out for me before i do stupid things. thank you for the suggestion. i'll go look at it now.

Ha...watch them closely. There really is no negotiation, the release you sign is literally only to screw you. It's that bad. Say goodbye to any rights to your pictures, your "SG identity" belongs to them, to post, take down, sell, or pee on, if they so desire. It's the selling part that bothers me, especially.
GodsGirls is similar in format to SG, if that's the route you are looking to go, and if you'd like application information, they are on *******. you can search them, or go to my website link on my profile and pick them out of my friends list. They haven't screwed anyone over yet, that I'm aware of.
If you haven't been in front of a camera before, it's kind of fun just to have a friend take pictures of you (nude or not, depending on the level of trust) to get used to being in front of a camera, and also to give you some decent application/portfolio photos. Just a suggestion! Not that it has gotten me too far yet.

Yes, that's what my boyfriend (said working model, Zomas) told me. If I'm going to stand there and look pretty, I'd like to have some rights to the pics after the fact. He suggested I tote a lawyer along for the ride, but at $500 an hour, having lawyer in tow is not cost effective.
I am going to have couple of friends of mine take some shots and see where that goes. We have access to some nifty locations to shoot at, which would be good for the whole creativity level. Wardrobe is also not a major issue. Since I live to the left of nowhere, the chickies in the community around here have two choices: shop online or make your own. So I sew. I know that not much will come of modeling, but it would be kind of cool to try.
