Red Flags

What makes you wave your red flag in the air? You know the one, the red flag that alerts others in the near vicinity- watch out, the person I am talking to it a LUNATIC!!!!

MY RED FLAG ALERTS:
* Pathological liars. It can become obvious within a few minutes of talking to someone........
* People who gossip. Now I lead a very public life but there are just some things I don't want to share.....
* Someone who says "want to climb into the trunk of my car.... er.. I mean the backseat????"
* Poeple who name drop
* People who want to go back and forth listing off mutual friends. It's not frightening, but it sure is annoying......

there are tons more, but those came to mind first....

Well, not really a red flag, but people in LA are notorious about going on and on about who they know, how cool they are, etc, etc... Usually in reference to movies or music. That shit makes me walk away very quickly. It's all about the tone though. I don't mind talking shop, but I hate braggers that act like they are better and cooler than everyone else.

all my lunatics are work related so they don't count

People who ask "Wanna make a porno with me?"
People who apologise for everything, even things that aren't something they CAN apologise for.
People who give me their life stories when I've only known them for 5 min.
The phrase "Know where I could get any party favors?" that one is a BIG RED FLAG.
The phrase "I just want to grab you by the throat so bad." *shudder*

And most of those are lunatics I met while stripping. I really am a waitress now.

All the things you mentioned... and then there's the times where I'm talking to someone and I know something's just not right. I am never wrong about this. even though I can't put my finger on it at the time, every time I have given said person a chance, I get fucked over. I have started just listening to that siren in my head that goes off at some people, because I am sick of giving people a chance and getting screwed..... It sucks that I'm not verey nice, but If I like you, you'll know it within 10 minutes.

-People you've just met who tell you some crazy story about how they hate their parents, their boyfriend did this/that, my manager is an -insert profanity- etc. Woah Hey..just wanted to say hello..did not mean for you to start bleeding on me.

-People who say "Oh man, screw society and its restraints, i'm a rebel/free spirit/etc etc". I don't mind if you are just saying it like .. that drives me crazy.

-People who say "Fuck the police" etc then cry really loud for police help when someone comes and trys to rob them.

-Just cliche people in general who live their lives from a TV's guidence.
