Art For Arts Sake- Petr Sorfa
I love when I get to meet new artists. It's one of the main reason why modeling appealed to me after the initial thrill of gettng to play dress up as an adult wore off. There is little chance that if I wrote someone such as Petr Sorfa and said 'hey I'm a fan of your work, wanna meet?' he'd say 'sure!'. But since I am willing to put on crazy make-up and show my bare ass in front of any camera that's pointed my way, I instead recieved an e-mail from HIM saying 'hey, wanna fly to Portland and shoot???'. F*CK YES I do! Anyhow, Petr is one of those rare blessed artists who does art for the sake of art. He's not about to sell out for cash, or conform so people aren't offended. He's inspired and his work is gritty and vibrant. He just had his work in Juxtapose (sp) and is puting out a book pretty soon which I get to be on the cover of :-)
Here's a sample of what we shot in portland a few weeks back:

This set I am posting on my site Scar13.com next Xmas. Can I just say that crawling around in the snow is cold?? Why do I inspire people to take me to the snow????
