Jesus and Mary Chain Dates Confirmed
This has not, as yet, been listed on their site. However, Jim Reid's label (
Planting Seed Records) confirmed that 2 additional shows will take place in NYC. The shows listed as "Freeheat" at
Webster Hall in Manhattan will be JaMC! The shows are scheduled for May 21 and 22. This will be the 3rd and 4th appearance of the Reid brothers together in 9 years. Footage of JaMC's appearances at the Glass House in Pomona and Coachella can be found via youtube. They started out slow, but hit the vintage sound shortly into both shows. William (as always) was playing lead. Jim did vocals on William's songs. Both sets featured old school JaMC from the 80s and one new track.
