Work ruins my fun.

And my sad, sad excuse of a social life. Due to recent complaints of people at our sister hospital looking at porn on shift, all "adult themed" websites (or any websites with words that might be deemed adult) have been blocked. So needless to say, I've been missing out on all the entertainment that goes on around here. Pretty much every website I go to is blocked, and none of them are actually porn sites (of course, this site being blocked actually makes some sense). For example, my friend created a forum for good places to eat in our area called "food for pleasure". Blocked. His band website is called Musical Orgasms, and that's also blocked.
Geez. Way to make me do what I'm paid for.
Anyway, done with the rant, and off to go study/practice for my finals today. Just three more!!

Good luck with your finals! I finished last week. You'll feel great when you're done. I'm noticing some cafes even block a lot of sites (including this one). It's ridiculous. I get a lot of sites blocked that have no "adult content". They have the right to do so, but I know they lose customers accordingly. Everyone brings their lappy. Noone would even notice. Just silly.

Dunno what to say regarding your social life. I've had too much of the wrong type of one over the last year and a half. Solitude and chilling with folks on the comp are not a bad thing at all imo.

There are ways around the block, but I don't recommend them if you're at work.
