Do you think in emotions, full sentences or fragments of each?
I think in broken repetative jumbled words. Once a thought enters my head it replays over and over till my concious mind acknowledges it and then I am forced to deal with it. If I am in a good mood the broken record of happiness plays over and over until joy consumes me. When I am pissed off the broken record of misery scratches on and on till I want to cry. I never think in full sentences unless I am arguing with someone in my head. I never think in pictures either unless I make a concious effort to do so.
y tu???

Stream of consciousness. When I write with the same cadence I think in, I sound a bit like Kerouac. You would see a string of ideas with no punctuation. It is pretty much constant unless I'm "in the zone": Meditation, sex, I can hit it with a serious cardio-workout. I can slow it down. I did pretty well in law school; which often requires a citation every other sentence. Naturally though: POOF!:thumb:

Re: Do you think in emotions, full sentences or fragments of each?
I suppose it depends on what I have to think about, in general it's more like paragraphs, or something like that, usualy there's pictures involved, I guess I try not to think about how I think too much...down that road lies madness
Re: Do you think in emotions, full sentences or fragments of each?
inner non-stop rant-or super fast spliced up jump cut images.
Re: Do you think in emotions, full sentences or fragments of each?
i think almost exclusively in pictures where "random" thoughts are concerned, but when im trying to really nut something out i guess i move more to words.....arranged pictorially in my head....(<<,)
Re: Do you think in emotions, full sentences or fragments of each?
Usually full sentences. Occassionally interrupted by fragments.
Re: Do you think in emotions, full sentences or fragments of each?
im not really sure. its a combo of emotion, conscious thought and snippets of thoughts. I am easily distracted and usually have a lot of different things going on at once...3 midgets in the house...2 dogs...a husband...i talk to myself to order my thoughts when i need to. so yes, im one of those people that is often muttering to themselves.

Emotions with visuals with a vocal narrative. Kinda like a movie I suppose.
