I voted smile and nod. Usually, I'll also point to the earplugs in my ears. Unless it's something that matters or friends (or amuses or interests), it takes a lot to get my attention. :thumb:

i ask them to repeat themselves, unless i really don't care what they may have said.

my husband mumbles...he claims he dosn't but half the time it's like he's talking with a mouth full of rocks. it drives me crazy.

I was hoping ot get some funny answers to what people mis-heard.. lol
