Bjork opening the Olympics.
Icelandic singer Bjork will open the Olympic Games in Athens on Friday. The eccentric star will perform before 70,000 spectators at the Greek capital's new Olympic Stadium and a worldwide TV audience of four billion at the four hour opening ceremony. The center of the stadium will be turned into a lake for the event, which will also feature important symbols of Greek mythology, including a giant Trojan horse, a statue of the goddess Athena and a centaur shooting an arrow.
Actually, she should be in the Olympics, on the boxing team, she can fight pretty well. That Japanese reporter didn't know what hit her.

Re: Bjork opening the Olympics.
I'll watch that then change the channel...the Olympics are boring..too many fucking commercials between events (and during them) these days.
Re: Bjork opening the Olympics.
I just thought Bjork was an interesting choice for opening the event. I never watch the Olympics.
Re: Bjork opening the Olympics.
Im expecting the buildings to collapse during the broadcast. Talk about rush jobs, I dont know what kind of magic supplies they used to put that stuff up that fast, but I still wouldnt trust it.

Yeah, that's kind of weird, I guess. I guess she's pretty big everywhere though.
Re: Bjork opening the Olympics.
..she's very odd, to say the least. And her music reminds me of Yoko Ono. I once saw footage of her attacking a reporter woman in an airport, for no reason, and right in front of her kid....
strange, very, but we all have our bad days...heh heh
