Any tricks for making my hair grow faster???

I like it short and I like it long, but I sure don't like this in between bull shiiiiiit!

When I was in South Africa my pal gave me some pills that are composed maily of Folic Acid and Biotin, with a bunch of other vitamin-y mineral-y stuff in there too....... Her other pal took them and his hair grew almost to his ass in 3 short years. So I am gonna eat them for 60 days till they run out.

Any other suggestions on how to have long lovely locks in no time flat??

Don't cut them, don't obsess over them, and chill....

Nothing non-prescription will change the speed of hair growth in a healthy young adult - provided the person has a balanced diet hair growth rate is 100% genetic, as is the natural length (decided by the time between growth cycles in each follicle). It will however reduce if you have nutrient deficiencies in your diet, so if anything at all can be said to 'help' then plain old multivits would be it - but even with prescription treatments you're talking about a few percent increase in speed.

Scalp massage and (i know its weird) horse conditioner from (the interwebs) your local farm supply store. Bridles and Bows or Mane and Tail, apply conditioner twice a week after showering as a leave-in. Patience. I tried cutting bangs into my hair about 6 months after I started growing my hair back from bald. I STILL have stupid bangs.

yea i go from a crew cut to human hair and the transition is like a poofy nightmare till the little suckers get 3 inches long

so i wear a hat as much as i can till it becomes managable

or you could just do like kumi does and wear wigs

i've heard that when you comb your hair, you should comb it all the way from the root to the end of your hair. I dunno, but it's supposed to work.

Trim it often, sounds strange but true, getting thsoe split ends out will make sure it grows long.

yeah that mane and tail stuff kicks ass! i also have their hoof cream... hand and nail cream for us 2 legged things. very awesome!!
and yes trimming is fabulous!

Agreed on the trimming bit. Which is odd, since our hair grows from the roots (thus giving us nasty regrowth for those of us who dye it), but trimming it and preventing split ends sure seems to make it grow faster.
I didn't cut my hair for... get this... 2 and a half years which was quite disgraceful, I had the most hideous split ends and it seemed to take forever to grow. I cut my hair about chin length when I finally cut it, and have had it trimmed every couple of months since then, and it's almost as long as it was before I took the plunge and finally cut it.

but my hair was SOOOO SHITTY... last time i cut it was months and months before i even got pregnant, then after that i was just too sick to give a fuck about most things hehe... including my hair hehe... yeah it was bad. gotta trim my hair again soon... ive had it chopped off twice and trimmed once or twice since ive had lyndon and its pretty fabulous now :D
