I need an unusual set of ten piercings done by Friday at 6pm, I want to corset a part of my body that's not my back, and can't afford to have it done for 80 dollars a hole at the shop. I would like someone with a lot of experience to do this, as I do not want complications, and would like them to be permanent. I am very willing to pay, just can't afford 800 dollars..

Being a piercer by trade (though not very geographicaly useful to you as i am in New zealand) i am naturaly cruious about the paticulars of your statement.
You want to corset what part of your anatomy? and what kind of corset work are we talking about: Captive beed rings in a vertical position or a set of surface bars with slave rings?
Forgive my somewhat prying questions!
My gues is that if she wants it to be permanent, then surface bars with slaves rings is the only real option.
Or micro dermals with slave rings
Very true Mainline_Iodine, but quite a lot of piercers don't use them (I do, in fact I make them) but I have seen enough pics to say that not every piercer uses them. I like the suggestion of dermals, though they haven't landed in my country in great volumes yet so I haven't had a chance to play with them (I look forward to that).
It would be wise to use to use those techniques but I was wondering witch method of corseting she had been offered.
As a piercer myself, i wouldn't advise(sp?) them as permanent unless she wanted ugly scars afterwards, just for show for a couple hours should be kept.
My pals down the street have a method of dermal implanting that won't reject, I want to corset my left bicep with five peircings on either side of my arm, I want to be able to lace it up...
I am going to agree with Thistle Harlequin on the scaring factor, but I hardly bill surface bars as permanent, the rejection rate is different with everyone and it also depends on the skill of your piercer.
I have even met people who claim to have had dermals reject, though I don't know what (if anything) they were using for after care or how they were treating them pre-rejection.

ok i am really interested in knowing if it worked out i wanna do the same thing to lower back and arms, sparing if it is no to costly, but howd it go

I haven't actually got it done yet, I got *buried* with work right about the same time I posted that thread. :)
I've been doing piercings since I was about 13 on other people (25 now)
I finally got around to doing my other nipple a few days ago, the left one was the first piercing I ever did.
I did a little probing, it seems like the back and side of my bicep is going to be pretty painful!! (like a bunch of giant flu shots hahaha)
I'll put some pics up, hopefully a link to some video once I get it done :D

this is very interesting... what are microdermals??? how would you attach a slave ring to them, ive only seen dermal implants that were completely under the skin... they look neat though :DQuote:
