Are family vacations out of style?

"Back in the day", according to movies and such, family vacations were all the rage! Mom and pop and even the dog would pile into the car and head out across the great United States of America, bound for fun times and adventures, ready for anything- even a flat tire!

Do you think people still go on family vacations in that manner? Or is gas too pricey...

Would you go on a family vacation if your folks invited you along?

I went on a vacation with my mom a few years ago, we had a great time. Both of us were in "a bad spot" so to speak and needed each other's support and love.......

I've traveled with family....wouldn't call it a vacation though

I would go on a family vacation with Boi's family. Mine's a nightmare without wheels... and they dragged me from one side of the country to the other anyway.

But honeslty, I LOVE family vacations and cheesy road trips. I love to stop at 'worlds biggest ball of yarn' places, and such. I just lack the money to take as many trips as I'd like. I <3 travel.

HELL YES i want to take all those cheezy ass family vacations with jamie and lyndon!!!! only thing were missing is the car and a dog ahhhh!!
