I love the Death Rock one's. I have discovered I cannot pull one off but I sure do love them, especially on pointy eyebrowed men mmmmm. I am a fan of the leopard spots too. Mmmm leopard spots.

i once wanted to get red white, and blue liberty spikes, but when i looked into the insanity that would ensue i gave up... (the blue, and red bleeding pink, and light blue into the white...)

i'm far too lazy, but big ol' liberty spikes da bestest.

the only people that have mohawks nowadays are little kids, frat boys and a few punks who paradoxically are almost always under 18, yet seem to be stuck in 1999.

*whew* man... if only i could go back to 1999... i had 200lbs of brown rice, lotsa water, and ammo for my 9mm.

...actually since i've been obessed with 80's new wave for a while now, i'd love to go back to 1980... sure everything was fucked up, and seemed scary... i just didn't think that it'd get even worse... i mean, how could i imagine something worse than reagan?

...but yeah, i see the 'fauxhawk' on lots of gay guys here in NYC, especially gay black dudes... huh?

i dont like the off centre ones, generally. theres a guy that works at my shopping centre with one and he looks like a twat. i knew a chick who used to have a mohawk and pigtails. looked weird, but kinda koo. also she looked trippy weird when her hair was down :S

I find it odd that there's not a specific name for this one. It's such a common style, and it's been around for a long time.

I can't do for either, but it could be argued that I have a dread hawk. I shave the sides and back of my head and the top is dreaded.

i used to have pixie bangs lol i like th tradtional home-made elmer school glue spiked punker hawk myself. the rest i just wanna whip my rainbow balisong out and scalp off of their owners.

There needs to be a photographic dictionary of all these styles of mohawks. There are just too many...

Im quite aware of the year. And Im hardly 18, though I wouldnt mind being that age again.

I know a ton of people with hawks over the age of 25 and even 30. Its back underground where it should be.

In Phoenix when I lived there, you couldnt find a punk over 20 with a hawk. Then I moved to Chicago, and I was right in my element. I guess it depends on where you live or whatever. Punk is still alive, going underground, but alive. And thats the way it should be, IMO.

Im doing promotions with clothing companies and online punk podcasts. But thats about it. Im focusing on my dog grooming career. Tired of the nude alt shit to a degree. I wont look or act 18 forever, lol.

EVEN 30? I vaguely remember being that young and I'm still wearing one. The less hair there is, the easier it is to cover the gray! I know two guys over 60 with hawks (one was dayglo green last time I saw it), but I don't think it's a unisex style at that age.

I dunno.... I saw alot of guys in dockers pants in L.A. with short hawks. It was truly an odd sight. now that I live in NC, I see alot of frat boys with short ass little mohawks. They come into the bar all the time and think they're really hot shit.... I still see cool people with hawks, but they are getting farther and fewer between... It's kinda sad, realy.

I'm doing ok for now- not where I want to be. I don't think I'll ever give up "alt" or nude stuff b/c I just like it. Sure- I got a 'day' job-and it sux.

I've got my mohawk back and its blonde and blue and pink and green and blonde- I'm sorry I let it grow out. I'm not sure what it's called though- but I don't think hairstyles should be 'aged' (unless they are farrah fawcett wings or something). I'll rock a mohawk if I want when I'm 90...

And I think some people will NEVER age- you are one of them. :)

My mohawk is over 5 " long now, as of late I haven't been so anal about shaving every week and now I see all sorts of interesting grey hairs that I really kinda like. I miss my natural hair, haven't really seen it in over 15 years.

Having the dreadhawk was tough b/c everyone wanted it up high and it didn't do that well, dreads are heavy. I liked the white trash look though, and it was good for character work. I don't wanna go multi colored raver on speed and candy look.

I am looking to switch outta the boring graveyard job from hell that says I must not have alt hair, maybe stripping is on the menu? Seems guys like something that is different in the titty bars.:thumb:
