New Years Eve

So what is everyone doing tonight? What kind of mischief and madness awaits? I myself am headed to a couple of parties but then heading to bigger bash with large bonfire probably some live music a pool and a hot tub. Just not sure what intoxicant's I'll be getting into :D .

I'm still debating whether to take up the offer a few friends made of leaving at 3am for the beach (which is 2 hours away) to watch the first sunrise of the new year. I mean, I'm not sure I really want to go on a 2 hour drive, hang out on the beach for an hour and then drive 2 hours back.


What's everyone else doing.

My intoxicants are sinus & flu meds with several of my fav martini's; I should be hopped up for most of the night :cocktail:

same bar different year, except the bar's closeing down this weekend so this is the last year for that.

It's looking like I'll be spending a happy jolly fun time here at my aunt's place, as my parents and half the rest of the extended family are due to show up. I may still try to escape downtown, just to see what, if anything, takes place after all the old folks (how long can I continue to call other people that?) have gone to bed.

I worked, again. It was minimal manpower today, which means me and one other guy in case shit comes down. Though, my team leader did come in around midnight with some glasses and a bottle of non-alcoholic champagne. We had a toast, bullshitted for awhile, then when the last bird landed, got up and left.

I slept, now I get to go hang out in the local bar place until the Boy is done playing! Which is nice, we haven't been out for new years in ages, but bad, because I'm not very sosial and my stomach has been off. So... yay!

Was going to go to a party but decided to be a lazy ass. Ended up just going to dinner with my lady pal and shot off some party poppers.

Holidays were kinda lame this year. Atleast we got Obama :)

I miss that! since I've been in school and had to get up way early, I'm sleepy by 9 ... but I toss and turn because my brain is ALIVE during that time.

and i did indeed covertly get some nummy banana-flavored malibu into my diet coke. all that happened was i got a bit sleepy and irritable. i went to bed cranky and dreamed of my mom ....
and i thought about how in my 30 years of life i have *nevereverever* partied on new year's, and wondered if i care.

Xanax is very addictive. I think that's why doctor's are big on not prescribing it. It could turn into a lawsuit later on if the patient gets addicted and then blames the doctor. My doc prescribes it for me, but he's very careful on how much he gives me. I use it only once in a while so 60 pills can last me 6 months. I'm sure if it was more like 60 a month, he'd tell me to fuck off.
