one thing I know is that accurate measurements are your new best tool! I made a cute short one and it was great..till i lost 20 pounds :( so that one gets to go to the give away bin), also sometimes the backing fabric has a lot more give or visa versa , try to get the same type fabrics... hmmm lets see I also had issues with making a fitted corset that was supposed to cover my breasts, it had cups, well it looks stupid on me! LOl I hate it, the best corset so far is the old victorian one that goes from your hip to mid breast, that one is almost fail proof. Oh and dont forget to subtract 4-6 inches on your corset, if you are 36, 28, 38, make sure your corset isnt that exact size or you know what it will look like, wrong... take away a few inches so it looks right. If you have more questions feel free to ask, I take care of a master seamstress and she is phenominal and i can always ask her anything you need.Quote:
