Making the requested introduction...Hello, I'm LilyHawk (AKA LillianHawkins, LillianH as known in other digital art circles).
I enjoy all things weird and wonderful, including art, dark comics, horror movies, heavy metal, ghosts, gothic clothing, unexplained phenomena and the occult.
Since I was a very small child, I have questioned and pushed the established boundaries of organized religion and cultural norms. After many years of endless reading, research, practice, walking many different paths, and years working through the Dark Mysteries I find there is peace, fullness and nothing to fear in the so called "dark". I'm a certified paranormal researcher and oddly enough an ordained minister...but of the unusual kind.
I created Gothic Blend as a space where it is safe to explore all the dark and fascinating things that make minds wonder, hearts race and blood run cold with anticipation, excitement and mystery. I found this site running in the Gothic circles and wanted to check it out and see what it was all about.
There is no light without darkness. Don't be afraid of the dark.
