Who knows spanish that will do this for me?
Listen to the song by Pitbull ... Pitbull Cuban Rideout
Theres a 3 part slogan of sorts RIGHT AT THE MAIN END OF THE SONG, I've heard cubans in Florida say it to one another, but I have no idea how to say or spell it properly.
I've been pondering this one for almost 2 yrs:thumb:
Re: Who knows spanish that will do this for me?
VIVA LA RAZA means Long Live the Race.
Re: Who knows spanish that will do this for me?

Did you actually listen to the song or just guess?:D
Re: Who knows spanish that will do this for me?
I'd love to know what "Dale" means too, please ignore my ignorance of spelling.
Re: Who knows spanish that will do this for me?
I don't have the song and am not buying Spanish rap just to translate.
According to lyrics websites, is it "Sao pa sai"?

Re: Who knows spanish that will do this for me?
I am learning spanish, I don't speak it so this is going to be a little literal.
Que volar? Que vuelta? Que volon?
what flies? what returns? I want to say volon and volar are related, but without a dictionary I am just guessing.
It sounds like they go, they come, they go, but again, just guessing.
Oh, and "another beer please."
Re: Who knows spanish that will do this for me?
I do not listen that type of music... but I am going thought the same deal
Tyr, Amon Amarth, Unleashed, and those are all Scandinavia but they sing in english as well... I will be Jam right along with a track then, they break out in Scandinavia then you have Rammstein, oomph,.. E nomine...
Just like you make you wonder? what does this mean
Re: Who knows spanish that will do this for me?
How valuable is it to us who love our music who really wanna fuckin know!!!
Re: Who knows spanish that will do this for me?
All my cubans, Que vola? Que vuelta? Que volon?
How's it going/What's up?What's new? All three could means all these things in no specific order, but I'm not too familiar with Cuban slang. I might say Q-Vo to a friend which means the same things, What's up?
My Cuban-American friend in college would say stuff that I had no idea what it meant in regular Spanish since in a Cuban context the meaning would change.
Hope this helps.
Re: Who knows spanish that will do this for me?
Bless your heart!!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you.
I think its cute when the cubans I knew would greet an american and say What Happen?
Instead of what's happening.
I thought it was so cute.
I love the CUBAN accent in particular. I love ALL the different languages of the world.

Re: Who knows spanish that will do this for me?
Que volar? Que vuelta? Que volon?
That to fly? That return? That volon?
but translating it back i get this ¿Eso a volar? ¿Esa vuelta? ¿Ese volon?
also Que means that...
Volon isnt really any english translation that I could find...maybe a circle would be volon...
