Paying for sex isn't just a homo sapiens thing. Recently research on baboons showed that they tame females for sex. Depending on number of females iin tribe it takes from 8-16 min of taming to get laid.
I actually read about that in The Human Zoo or a title something like that...

Rubiks cube is still a big deal. The world record shortest average time and shortest single time for solving it were both set just a few weks ago by some dude and it was 11.28secs(av) and 8.72secs(single).
The average time is the average of the middle 3 of 5 attempts. Cubes are initially scrambled by moving them 40 times and rubbed with petroleum jelly for ease of insertion I mean twiddling.
