besides. you havent seen my local hospitals track record.

when i used to cover the local race track we had to take casualties straight there. we would honestly wait in the bay as 10 minutes they'd ask us to take the patient 50 miles the other side of the track!

most minor breaks i tend to strap up myself nowadays, if its major i'll go in but only in their opening hours (9-5, yes really!) and hope that I've already taken the day of on leave from my employer, (Her Majesty's Government, Department of Transport) or there'll be repocusions on my development plan.

nationalised healthcare is good for a quick fix, and i do belive my contributions to it are worth it (i belive in supporting a system where people benefit from) but if i need anything... well its private healthcare/insurance.

I see the problem, but I don't really see any other solution. it requires people, funds and facilities to administer care and there is only so much that can be given, even with the best of intentions. If you're not going to get help either way, at least I'd feel better knowing that it was because someone else needed it more, not just because they were able to pay their way in and might need it less.

City parks dept. has facilities all over the city. I'm not sure that you need to be a new york resident to join, but for like $50 a YEAR, you can get access to all of them. Some have weights, some have pools (might have to pay $70 for that).

Anyway, don't mind me.
