I actually learned about this at school. A good example is a sunflower will turn with the sun. Remember just because something isnt made the same as you dosent mean it wont work. By that logic any aliens out there will be biologicall identical to a terrestial species.

I come from a pig farm in Kansas. I have killed and eaten animals. It feels good to know where my food comes from. I could only wish everyone could have that experience.

I'm a vegetarian, but when a meat-eater claims s/he could not kill the critter it makes me glad that s/he at least feels bad about it. It's something.
