Oh, and then you have to do a scene from "Rocky"...
Here is an artistic question, how many corset unlacing scenes would be TOO much?
This English actor is really good at unlacing corsets. He is in this movie, and the best part of the whole movie is the part where he kisses her and unlaces her corset.
So how many times can he unlace a corset before it would be TOO MUCH?
Do you think THREE times is too many? (yeah.... I know)
But he is SO GOOD AT IT!!!!
I mean, I don't want him to think this is a porn film written by some blonde gothic slut who is drooling over him...... Even if it is true...
Can you imagine if he wanted to meet me and "talk about the script"... Maybe we could rehearse the corset unlacing scenes... OK, stop it Jennifer, stop!!!
I do a good Ivan Drago:thumb: "I must BRRREAK YOU"Quote:

OK you have to do a scene of Stallone unlacing a corset.
I can do the scene from Rocky where he gets hit on the side of the head and blood, spit and snot fly out of his nose and mouth in slow motion...Quote:

OK here is todays self criticism of my 85 page screenplay so far:
1. It is too repetitive
2. The characters are too simplistic and too overstated. Take it down a bit.
3. The whole thing is just a WEE bit over the top!!!
4. Maybe a little too much corset unlacing...
5. All in all, I think it could be really good and it is pretty original
6. If I could put the whole thing together right, it would be really good!!!
7. Ah!!!!!!!!
In answer to my own question, the characters tend to say the same thing over and over and over, like broken record. It's too obvious. Make them a bit more mysterious...
I would think a lot first drafts would be that way. You just have to condense and edit out whatever is redundant.:thumb:Quote:

That's how a lot of people work in real life.
They do not all just come out and discuss what is going on.
So this morning a total BIGHSHOT ACTRESS'S Paris agent (she won an ACADEMY AWARD OK!), calls me on the phone and asks me to send the treatment to her LA agent!!!! This is SO much fun...
So far I have a bigshot English actor, a bigshot AMERICAN actor and an ACADEMY AWARD winning French actress!(I guess she could play me....)
I mean, it doesn't mean they will do it, but wow... I am really encouraged!!!!
AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reminds me I need to ask you something (it's writing related) mind if I email you about it?
Sure go ahead and e-mail me! Thank you... It's fun to get response. I will MAKE SURE that the script is good!!!!I am doing more research for it right now to make it as authentic as possible.Quote:

He is too cute and good. This actor needs to be a bit sinister and sexy....But if Hugh wants to do it, far be it from me to argue...
I wrote some great stuff in the script this morning. But I am tired now. I will wait. I just fixed some of the scenes. I am still on 85 pages. I think I know a really good scene to add, but I am tired now and will wait until I am inspired.... I can't write anymore today....
Actually I re-wrote the treatment a bit because the script is a bit different and sent it to the bigshot actress.....
PM it to me. I told u mine:thumb: I'll try out for the owner of that club hehe.Quote:

But he would be PERFECT for this role... I mean, this role was MADE for him.... And he is GORGEOUS, yummmy.... To tell you the truth out of all the actors in the world, if I HAD to choose, I think I would choose him, just because he would be perfect for it... I mean, a lot of actors would be great in it, but he would be the best. So it is really cool that they want to read the script...
SO I just keep thinking of him when I write.... I mean, he will probably actually be holding the script in his hands and reading my words...
So romantic.
I hear wedding bells....I'm picking out the dress now...
WOOOOOOOO!!!! Go you! :D Have fun, I've always wanted to write a screenplay, but I've never really had the time or any connections...
hehe I bet I'd know:1orglaugh Can I get a band together and play cheesy songs at you wedding?Quote:

This morning I read it, printed out, for the first time. I think it's really good. I started crying at the end. It's just what I wanted it to be. I really love it....
So this 9 year friend of mine, she is already helping to cast it. She is a genius. She recommended Geoffrey Rush from Pirates of the Carribean as the bad guy!
And then she said that I should tell the English actor about the Academy Award winning actress to impress them and make them want to do it more. This girl is a genius!! She is nine! I should hire her as my PR agent. I swear!
So I am just going through it now for typos, grammar, etc., but basically it is done.
I guess I will just go through it for a few days, and read it, and if I still like it, and have not made any big changes, maybe I will send it.
But then I have to deal with the REJECTION if the actor doesn't like it... But maybe he will it. H-m-m-m-mmmmm...
Don't put all your eggs in one english actor's basket:1orglaugh :thumb: You will probably have to edit it regardless of what he says about it.Quote:

It's a hard task to ask another "How would you have said it" but it can help strike up a thought or two in your head. If he just plain does not like it, well that's the gamble of any writing. You roll with it like a losing bet and psyche yourself up for the next one.Quote:

Besides, you are supposed to audition for me. I want to see your rendition of Stallone singing "Summer Nights" while slowly unlacing a corset!!!
And then there is the academy award winning actress.... Maybe she will like it!
heh!! This is fun!!!
I could still get more actors... I don't think Stallone would be right for it though...
Winona is pretty enough, but I don't think she is good doing period pieces. She is too much of a tomboy. She looks period, but her personality is too California tomboy I think. But I love Winona...
haha I meant you should not get discouraged if he doesn't like it. Why Stallone singing it? I can actually carry a tune. I don't see Winona in any of those roles.Quote:
