So of course, he does not show up, and when I get home, there is this NASTY message on my machine from his "assistant", saying in this very NASAL american acccent:
"Ralph can't meet you"....
I mean, they didn't thank me for the roses, she was just kind of angry...
So if you pinch Ralph on the set, you may get the nasty assistant after you!! Watch out!!!
Meh...She was just jealous....He'll get an extra pinch if he has a nasty assistant. She can't out-nasty me. Don't get between me and my brit! Hey! I have an idea! I'll be your nasty assistant!! I could leave mean messages to british hotties that don't call you back, and assist you in stalking Mr. Depp....

You've got the job!!! Definitely pinch him especially right in front of the mean assistant, just to make her mad!!!
Re: Marilyn Manson/johnny Depp
i want to be in a movie :-/
i got alot of ideas in a directors point of veiw i have to work at getting "known" enough to maybe use them one day... being in a movie would help ;)
Re: Marilyn Manson/johnny Depp
So I can sort of see this film going three different ways: If Johnny Depp starred in it with Marilyn Manson and Tim Burton, it would be more goth and stylized...
If Ralph Fiennes or Jack Davenport or John Lynch starred in it, and we got some English director, it would be more of a romantic English film..
THEN, there is another option, I just realized, that the music in the film could be highlighted more, and the live performances, etc. could make it into almost a MUSICAL, sort of a goth musical...
But I would be really happy with any of these directions..
OR maybe NO one will like the script, and I will have to do it super low budget and star in it myself!! hah!! That wouldn't be so bad either!!!!

Firstly, Tim Burton seriously ROCKS.
Secondly, You never know, if it was with an English directior it might take on a stark post-punk sort of feel. Like Trainspotting, or Snatch.
Thirdly, if no one likes it, you will have more than enough help producing your own independant film!
Re: Marilyn Manson/johnny Depp
Depp is probably booked for the next 10 years. Peter Murphy would be an interesting choice, if he was willing to take the time a movie requires.

Well gosh, I hope SOMEONE likes the script.... I like it... None of my friends have the attention span to read it, they are all burnt out club people with few brain cells left....
It seems like I am selling it with the one sentence pitch and the title. I think they could always make it into something, because it seems like they must like something about it.
I swear, I kept changing the one sentence pitch, until now I have it down.... It's all about soundbites and one sentence!!! Fast, fast, fast...
I may have to really hire you as my assistant, this is no joke... Where are you?

Well everybody in the entire film business is basically booked up for the next few years, but if they really want to do something, they do it. Besides I can wait....
Re: Marilyn Manson/johnny Depp

Well I have three other really GREAT actors that have actually asked for the script, so even if Johnny won't do it, it would still be really great...
But Johnny's camp should have passed by now. I should have gotten SOMETHING back, or someone saying, "no", or something like that. But I haven't. Nothing came back in the mail, no one e-mailed no one called. So I just wonder why... I am so used to getting passed on, that I am really surprised when I DON'T get passed on...

Not to discourage you, but isn't this from the land of "Don't call us, we'll call you"?

Don't worry, nothing you could say would ever discourage me.

Kate (aka Wickedanima): *drool, mumble incoherantly, stare blankly, hump his leg*
Johnny Depp: *blink*
Mistress Jennifer: *muffled* Ralph Fienns! You know I don't like the pink polish on Thursdays! Yer fired!!!
Johnny Depp: *blink*

Fiennes is only booked for another year too. I'd jump on that. He just finished The Darwin Awards with Winona Ryder.

Re: Marilyn Manson/johnny Depp
OK, then when I got HOME, I got these two producer/directors (they did Red Dragon, with Anthony Hopkins and Ralph Fiennes), asking me to Fed Ex the script!!!
AH!!!! Help!! They BUY scripts... Well, I guess I just wait and see if they like it. I actually CALLED Johnny Depp's partner, and I CALLED agent, and left messages and told them all this stuff, but it is hard to pitch a script over the phone. I sound like such a Valley Girl....
But this is really amazing. I never sleep.

Be sure to check with an attorney before selling the script. It can mean the difference between getting the film made or having it sit on some studio's shelf.:thumb:
