i guess i just don't have the face for it...i have had a few female friends try it out and i just look absolutely gay...litterally.. i look like some kind of gothic drag queen mixxed with a whole lot of flamming abba remixed with some marilyn manson fake body parts....
i used to wear eyeliner but im to lazy to put it on also it diesnt look good unless i slick my hair back or part it out of my face and im waaaaay to lazy to do that unless im going clubbing or something

Even kinda messy eyeliner can make a guy look sort of devil-may-care in a good way, in the right situation.
I dont see anything wrong with men wearing eyeliner, heck the ancient egyptians wore it all the time..the guys too...so what difference does it make? Sure it looks icky and crappy on some guys, but on others...:::drooool::::

My problem is, I wear contacts and am constantly rubbing my eyes, so I don't do the whole eyeliner thing, though i don't frown upon others doing so.
If you wanna wear it, knock yourself out. For the most part, I'd prefer guys to wear less makeup than me on a daily basis. Considering I'm too lazy to put it on most days, that doesn't leave much room.
Only if they're bedouins in the desert or football players. On girls I think it's lovely, makes them look mysterious and sexy, but on guys its so cliche and just..no. imho anyway.
My eye lashes are long (my "elementary school teacher", as you would call them in the states, used to say she would kill forlashes like mine, and that was when I was 5!) and, altjough I am naturally blonde, they are as dark as my eyebrows. The length of my eyelashes do help me to put in my contacts, though I have confused one lad at work by putting some that came out near the computer keyboard, and he thought we had rats, since the hairs couldn't possibly be human. I don't need to wear eyeliner.

... I have seen a few where it just looked kinda icky. Even my honey, now that he's not a 15 yo scrawny androgynous goth boy, it looks kinda... blech. But my friend Ralf looks simply Fabu in eyeliner.

sometimes its needed especially when you shoot a video in a live concert setting, if you got of intense color changes your eyes tend to get lost, it also depends on the camera choices, film vs digital capture, and ultimately it depends on your desired out come, you might wanna go for a look...
in other words on stage sometimes...

The husband wears eyeliner and powder when we go out. It is so hot. If you ever saw the documentary "Another State of Mind" with Social D, Youth Brigade and Minor Threat then you know why I am hooked. I saw that at a really young age and I used to rewind the scene with Mike Ness standing in the bathroom putting eyeliner on. Yummy!
I'm sort of obsessed w/ eyeliner on guys..not so much lipstick though,especially black lipstick,I think it's just tacky. And it does have to be well done or very simple..I hate seeing the guys w/ the clown white smeared all over thier faces and big,black circles around their eyes,(and usually black lipstick too),or (eegad) the crow makeup.. ::gags violently:: And usually it helps if the guy is pretty attractive to begin w/..adding makeup to a trainwreck doesn't make it any less disturbing.
I haven't done so so in a few years just hard to get up in the morning to put makeup on anymore. Though for vacation might do it. Just hate how heavy black makeup feels after a while
It really depends on the guy. but only eyeliner, if we are talking about the whole makeup (shadow, lipstick, powder, etc) shebang then hell fucking no. I like guys that look like GUYS. but on the right one a little liner smuged on the bottom lid looks okay sometimes.

Most actors and stage performers wear some form of eye makeup to make their features easier to make out--
If you DJ or just go to a club, play in a band, perform in any way, or just take a lot of photos of yourself as a model or for no reason in particular-Eyeliner is very useful!
