I like the last one because of her leggins and the tatt emerging from it.
I really like her pics, and the more I see, the more I'm drawn in... she's got that awesome inner light that causes the viewer to feel connected.
She needs to be a model MORE recognized, with a healthy fanbase.

OKhaos - I believe that it's a lizard skull on her necklace. I'm not certain what type of lizard, though. And Ariellah, though not a model, does have a healthy fanbase for belly dance. I was surprised to find out she was asked to be part of the 'Superstars of Bellydance' tour and turned it down. And thanks for the compliment on my watermark and photos.
BPunk - That particular shot is one of both mine and Ariellah's favorites. And the color wasn't altered in photoshop. When we moved to that area, I forgot to change my white balance and that's how the images came out. I corrected it in Photoshop to the right white balance and it didn't have quite the same impact.

She has an interesting face with lots of angles, and it would be just wrong to try and "flatten" them out, like an 80s fashion ad from Japan.
As for overlighting bodies, sure, they pale them out and make the skin look flawless, but the shadows are where the sexay lives - the hollow of the hip, the gentle swell of the mons veneris (one of my favourite parts of the female body, by the way--- that slight upturn and swell is what makes that area!) the shadows of the breast and cleavage, and shadow on the legs and arms that show the curves and contours.
