What is your favorite recreational drug?

Alcohol counts for the unimaginative or legally challenged, I guess.


Mine has to be MDMA; not so much as a party drug as for days-long private romantic orgies with a lover; activities that normally run on serotonin get you far, far higher on it than just clubbing, I find. We tend to mix in other drugs for energy or edge, but md provides a basis of sheer enjoyability that's quite unmatched.

LSD and GHB are runners up for good times with their own ideal activities, but I don't have quite as long a history with them.

I smoke weed occasionally. Lately it's like once a week only.

alcohol caffeine and nicotine. I'd smoke weed if it were legal and still do whippets if i had my cracker and balloons but i try not to break the law because i live with my mom and she works for the county so they tend to frown on that kind of stuff.

my recreation days are long gone.......

Other than that, I don't drink, smoke, or do any other drug. I even try to avoid caffeiene. Sometimes I take sleeping pills, but not recreationally. I don't like taking those, either. I would have the occasional clove, but I am allergic to fiberglass and get sick every time I smoke one.

About MDMA, it's just fabulous substance, But I'll rather use my own serotonin. There's a technique on how to achieve natural ecstasy.

I haven't consumed GHB since they made it illegal in the States, but what is problematic with how it works?

Oh and my drug of choice is currently iced lattes.

As a writer, I'm a collector of experiences, so I've tried just about everything save heroin... unless you count opium (I don't). LSD, Peyote and Mescaline were always at the top of my "favorites" list, followed shortly after by shrooms.

As for weed, I still don't consider it a drug in the same sense as the others; it's more in the vein of alcohol, caffeine or pain pills... and probably less dangerous than any of the above. The thoughts in my head speed through so quickly that I have barely a chance to recognize them, much less analyze them, before they're gone over the horizon. Marijuana slows that turbo-train down to a manageable speed... enough at least to write down the more noteworthy thoughts in my head so they might actually come to fruition in the future instead of getting lost in the eraser-dust of my brain.

I'm quite the little pothead tbh. Not as bad as I was in high school (I took that term a little too literally), but certainly worse than I was when I was living under the rule of a tyrant tool.

But way back in the day, and still on the rare occasion when I'm feeling crazy, my drug of choice was/is ecstasy. It's such an intense... fuck I can't type in colours and that's the only way I can think of to describe what the experience is to me.

i havent done drugs in almost 2 years now, theres never any time to myself and when there is i want to sleep. lol altho a some speed could keep me up for a while so i could get some damn house work done. lol

It's really easy to overdose. GHB is an organic acid that is found in our body. If you take in GHB under certain circumstances it can trigger production of your own GHB which can easily overdose you. It's not rare to hear death cases caused by GHB here.

Shrooms...although I hate the taste and abhor the kind you're supposed to eat.
GHB was really therapeutic for me 15 years ago. I used to use it for anxiety and it didn't have any adverse effects that I can recall.

I only do drugs for work, not for recreation.

I don't do a lot of drugs anymore. I've gone through phases with it though. In high school it was all about acid, eventually I started smoking weed, then I had a brief albeit intense relationship with crystal, then coke, never bothered with E really. These days I mostly just smoke weed and drink, and I'll do coke if it someone else pays for it. If I had to pick a favourite it would be coke...until it runs out.

I know about GHB being naturally present, but I dont think its sudden release or production is effected by taking artificial GHB. There's other things that can detrimentally cause natural GHB buildup, but they've got nothing to do with GHB as a drug.

GHB is nonetheless very dose sensitive, yes. Twice your normal dose puts you to sleep or leaves you puking, three times gets pretty dangerous, which is a lot less of a threshhold than most drugs boast. Still, it's not really 'difficult' to see the difference between a quantity of a substance and twice that quantity; if you know the purity of what you're taking and know to pay attention, it's not rocket science to get it right. And since there's a stage of harmless incapicitation inbetween recreational doses and poisonous ones, it doesn't really build up without you knowing, either.

Sadly most of my drug use is medical, not recreational. I would love to get some shrooms again but for me tripping is more therapeutic than recreational. Other than that I try to stay away from drugs.

About the same, usually only when I'm on leave for a couple weeks or more, as long as I have a week to get it out of my system before I go back to work so when I get piss tested a week after it's all out.

Otherwise, I just drink in excessive amounts.

Better high you can get off any drugs. Feelings of euphoria, brighter colors for days, and just plain out happy as fuck as well as an accomplished pride that you overcame the pain. The feeling of being weightless, like youre flying. Nothing will ever come close to that feeling.
