what do you collect?

I think just about eveyrone collects something....
toys, dolls, masks, bottlecaps, guns etc.

what do you like to collect and are you more a fan of collecting for sentimental value or money value?

do you do open displays or in package displays -that's more for toy collectors-

etc. etc.

i collect a lot fo things mainly cus it's things i like. i collect halloween props including masks,
weapons and statues
plushies, comics and toys.

and i've never been a fan of keeping things in their original packaging for some reason.

i dont collect things thinking thyey'll appreciate in value, i do it cus i like the thing im collecting.

Instruments.

Knives, Hot Wheels and biker related paraphernalia

You could say tools as well, but I use those to make a living.

I think I accumulate particular things rather than collect them

I do have a lot of comics though.............if they didn't cost so much I'd probably just chuck the older ones to free up space though

i've done that with a few of my old comics. i mostly just kewep the ones i actually read mroe than once nowadays and okay, the marvwel zombie ones too cus tey're pretty collectable and i have almost allt he first printing covers to the last two series before the crappy marvel zombies 3

Postcards. And books. And boots. And.....

At the moment I collect Console RPGs. I still open them and play them but after I'm finished I try to keep them in pristine condition inside their cases.

Rocks, Karate belts.

I should start a collection of medels properly next month.

paintball gear, medieval weapons and armor, volcanic rocks and fossils

Posters out of Revolver and Metal Edge magazines, I usually don't even put them up, they just sit in a pile somewhere. In fact I've only got three that I've put up right now, but that's because I hate staring at the blank walls of this room.

Other than that, I've got the Hawthorne Villages horror movie collection and I collect tattoos, sometimes other people's... I use to collect rubber duckies when I was little, but I don't have a single one anymore.

I have all my bus and train tickets from the euro-trip. but mostly i collect hand fans, lace/silk handkerchiefs and I still have a shit load of Hello Kitty crap. Mostly though I collect art supplies. Boxes and boxes of paints and fabrics. I used to collect bottle caps, esp sobe bottles, and buttons.

... of course now i have a bunch of penguins.

yaknow whats funny about that is when i was in the navy i used to collect tattoo magaizne, tattoo flash magazine and tattoo savage. in fact that's the first time i ever saw amelia and forrests work was in a copy of savage.:thumb:

i'd imagine it would probably be something like a glowedy pet rock no?

I keep them floating around.

It revolves, each phase of life generally has a series of collectibles with it. Comic books with cool/unusual art, movies, Magazines (for the peectures), art supplies, glass jars (mason, chemist, bottles, etc.), boxes, funny figurines, candles, buttons & shinys, scarves, dragons, swords/knives, spices, shoes, lace & cloth, and bottles of liquor.

post mortem pictures, victorian pictures, victorian toys and medical stuffs, taxidermy, bones, bottles, rosaries, cool books...etc

damn i got lots of junk now that i think about it...and my dead animals and taxidermy stuff and victorian stuff are all in two display cases but i'm runnin outta room.time for anther one

Im always finding them but I can never keep them. I press them dry in books, wich I always return to the library without checking them. If you got to Richmond, Windsor or Blacktown libraries in NSW Australia and find a four leaf clover in the back of a book, can I have it back?
