im catholic yehaaaaaaawwwwwwww
"Yeehaw"?
I don't think that any organised religion suits any one. I think that each person has their own inner religion which they follow - whether it be a god-based religion or hugging trees - and this may well be a smattering of several accepted religions thrown together.
it seemed like the right thing to say altho i havent been anywhere near the church in years i still consider myself catholic since ive already been baptized and ive had my first comunion:wink2:
Deist........ some things can't be explained by science alone (for example a bumblebee's wings should not be able to support the weight of the bee to let it fly) But I think organized religion is not a great idea. I mean in the Old Testament, if you went into battle, you were supposed to lay siege to the city and put everything that breathes to the sword because they might lead you down a path away from Yahweh. But as far religions go, Buddhists, Coptic Christians and Bahai are pretty cool. And with the exception of a few shitheads, Islam is actually pretty laid back. But I do not believe in an organized religion so I guess that makes me a deist.
Specific Form of Pagan.
Your god is dead, and noone cares. If their is a hell. I'll see you there. NIN
I think it's safe to say I'm a Satanist. yep.
I'm an Atheist.
If I had to choose a Religion, I'd check out the Santerians.
They seem to practice some interesting Rituals.
:fruit:
if i had to say then im a cross between satanist and athest. I have satanist views but i don't beleve in the ritual magic of the satanic bible. So i can;t call myself a satanist.
Agnostic.
I don't believe there ARE true atheists.
Most people when shown proof of a higher power will buckle down and cry like little children. It's all well and good to say 'I dont believe their is a God.'
when theres no physical evidence to support either way.
I assume everyone here knows the term 'agnostic' and what it means?
Where you are willing to accept the possibility of Gods, but arent exactly sure, and dont Worship them, but respect them in general?Quote:

Basically yeah.
ok here is the thing i don;t beleve in fairy tails. if there was a god then who made god? so many reiligons in this world and they all think they right and there not all god based. I figure that noone is right. when you die there is nothing. how we got here i donno but who cares where here. so i wouldn;t go so far to say that there is no true athest. perhaps alot are agnostic. But to say all is an assumption.Quote:

... I guess.
which is the one where you get to punch people in the face?
Reactionary aggro-atheism, provided you don't worship anyone.
Voodoo baby!!!
Now lets take a look at this from a scientific perspective.Quote:

If people believe in a 'God' would it make more sense to believe he was something from BEFORE? Could there not be more than one?
Who knows? I dont. I dont pretend to either. It's just naive.
Is the universe infinite? What we see as an infinite universe could simply be one of those snow-globe-thingies on someones desk. And can we truely say that the big bang created the universe out of nothing? what is nothing? Can we define it? Ok, so this is more of a philosophical argument, but basically my thoughts on religion are based on philosophical problems.Quote:

Basically, the best religion for an individual, is the religion that puts his or her mind at ease about the uncertainty about it all. Religion keeps us happy and content to go about our short lives in whichever way we see fit.
hmmm lots to choose from but since I have my own conclusions of grandeur I quess I'll have to say none
Zaireism...it's one part cult like worship of all things me and one part public drunkeness.
We are accepting new members daily.
Indeed you say that there must be matter and that logically, "nothing" as we call it cannot exist. We define space as the absence of our known elements, and what we call matter, but it is possible for matter to inhabit this space, and thus cease to be space. If there was truly nothing then it would have to be a void opposing all things that do exist, and so how could nothing exist in the same realm or universe as matter? the solution is that this "space" is of course inhabited by matter and particles smaller than our subatomic elements that exist, but simply cannot be detected by our inferior human technology.
As far as the big bang theory goes, it is very hard to fathom a universe, as you call it, that is created from nothing, or more accurately the "creation" of atomic elements blasting henceforth into a universe that was previously devoid of all such matter...
But if you consider that if there was such a thing as a "big-bang" in our universe, and reasoned that there was an influx of a "big-bang" in an alternate universe, then it is not so hard to reason that matter could be imploded into itself in one place, and expelled outward into another.
The existence of such things as Black Holes in our universe lend support to such a conclusion-many years ago when this theory was first formulated many people rejected it because it is not possible by our conceived laws of the universe... It wasn't until later on we had advancements in technology that proved what had before only been a concept actually did exist in reality.
The existence of other universes is also not hard to imagine given other such inaccuracies and defiance of physical law in our universe, such as places of space that contain gravitic anomalies where there is no matter that would be necessary to create those gravity fields. And light from stars at the furthest point of the universe that has existed for a period of time (as measured by the distance multiplied by the speed of light) that is impossibley younger than the age of stars (as measured by the stage of the stars life-cycle in accordence to how long it takes hydrogen atoms to break down to achieve that stage) that are closer to us.
I pray to Jim Bob...Nuff said

I'm apperantly a pagan or occultist. Not bad. I'd say either a modern Satanist or a Taoist. So they're pretty close. I am obsessed in learning about all things Occult. But they asked far too many Jesus questions without proper answers.

Very interesting, I never would have guessed that that would come up. I consider organized religion to be something only for people who are uncomfortable with uncertainty. As mentioned above......*shrugs*
wow, that didn't work at all, well basically.....
Modern Satanist
Nondenominal Christian. Because other sects hate me. As for Hindi, Bahai, any of the other religions, I just don't feel like they are right for me, nor something I would like to partake in right now.
I too am Agnostic.Quote:

Bow down jk.
Either Agnostic or Pagan. Possibly satanist or Daoist. Not exactly sure.
I know what I believe etc, but explaining it is difficult.
