What is the origin of the name you use on the BlueBlood boards?
What is the origin of the name you use on the BlueBlood boards?
My name, Scar, is the name I use here and everywhere else on the internet. It was given to me as a joke by my older brother when the strip club I worked at suggested I NOT use my real name. That was back when I was 18, and I am turning 26 pretty soon! I used it in other places when required to have a pseudonym and pretty soon it stuck :-) The 13 came by way of necessity. Scar.com was taken, so I had to think of a site name that sounded good. Try and think about it, what other words work with Scar? NONE! Seriously everything sounds stupid when paired with 'Scar'. So along came # 13.....

Re: What is the origin of the name you use on the BlueBlood boards?
it was meant to be AtomiKKillA but i think i was retarded for the couple of minutes it took to fill out my info and Register. AtomiK being my "internet name" ive been using prety much since ive had a computer, and its also the name of a radioactive space cow from a comic book i made up when i was 12.

Re: What is the origin of the name you use on the BlueBlood boards?
I read 'Wicked' on the way back from my vacation to London several years back, and just fell in utter love with it. It stayed with me forever, poor Elphaba and her story... So I really wanted to be "Wicked" (and I always did like to call myself a Witch anyways), but that was always taken. WickedSpirit sounded, a bit lame to me... so Anima... It sounded neat... WickedAnima.

Re: What is the origin of the name you use on the BlueBlood boards?
My name on here comes from a tribe of werewolves from the game Werewolf:The Apocalypse (I even have the PictoGlyph of the Black Spiral Dancer tribe on my arm). White Wolf have gotten rid of them in the new game. Bastards!

Re: What is the origin of the name you use on the BlueBlood boards?
Just your average Aztec goddess name. It means "flower" and it also means "beauty & truth" in Nahuatl. I have used it for years when modeling and with my work in BDSM & on the internet. I decided on start embracing my more native roots and learn about them, I was warned it would be to hard for people to say but I said too bad. Besides there were lots of people at one time who had no problem with native names & most people learn quickly. I like it, it is very proud & pagan.

Re: What is the origin of the name you use on the BlueBlood boards?
To me, mine evokes just the right kind of wistful, romantic, past-that-is-lost-and-can-never-be-regained type of feeling. Plus I own the domain name. Plus it's my name on *******. It's a mixture of the following:
Halcyon: A golden past era, the finest moments in the past, when you were really rockin... when you get old like me you will know more about this although I suspect I'm having some halcyon days at present...
Hel: (1) The Norse mythological underworld. Apparently you go there instead of Valhalla if you die ingloriously of old-age etc. instead of gloriously hacked to death in battle. Then again Baldr went/is there and he's hard to fault seemingly. He was allowed out if every single being in the world cried for him but just one Giant bitch didn't so bad luck fella. Surrounded by a river of knives and all sorts of dogs, tree roots and icky stuff.
Hel: (2) The eponymously named hot babe who is the ruler of this realm of Hel... the real Hel-chik that's for sure. She caused some king to die the right kind of death so he had to go to Hel and she could jump him for all eternity... pick me!! Later on, by the time of Marvel comics, she became known as Hela.
Cyon: A mobile phone brand by LG... ok this has nothing to do with it.
By the way if your name is Hela.. girl I want to know you!

Mine originates from my two favourite songs by Dir en Grey: "Obscure" and "Zan". Zan translates into "Decay" when taken from Japanese to English :D Both songs happen to be my theme songs +^_^+

Re: What is the origin of the name you use on the BlueBlood boards?
Annie, because my first boyfriend liked the poem "little orphan Annie" and it stuck even after we split. Anatomy because my father is a doctor and I used to find his medical text books fascinating so my mom started calling me her little Anatomy expert or "anatomy" later on my 2 nick names were fused when I became a piercer.
I’m thinking of changing my last name to Anatomy- Its better than Reddy :)

MizVanity was given to me by my friend Amber because in 5th period I brought out my mirror every 2 minutes. I got nervous around Dunbar, what can I say? I have to check my make up! I am very vain though. And I thought Miz went well with it.

Re: What is the origin of the name you use on the BlueBlood boards?
Eclipse because I think of myself as having 2 very different sides.... I love animals hate the average person. I'm Sadistic and Masochistic..... I'm dom and sub... so I chose Eclipse because depending on my mood I may be completely different than one may expect of me.

Re: What is the origin of the name you use on the BlueBlood boards?
I got seeker from an ex-gf of my brothers. She commented at a part that I like to find out information about people and most topics in life. So she said I was a seeker as in 'one who seeks'. I got the name about15 yrs ago and it stuck though these days mainly people in the bdsm scene & poly scene know it.

Re: What is the origin of the name you use on the BlueBlood boards?
you know i've spent hte last like 8 months trying to switch my name to something else. But I'm still just K. I spent too much time as Keiko, which is Japanese for "Obedient Child". I took it when I was looking for a decent name to do bondage photos under. Ended up doing Porn under the same name. For the record I'm not remotely Japanese, despite who I might have fooled in the past.I have two other handles I use, SunshineReaper and CrimsonDevil, but I don't use them as often.
...I'm rambling again aren't I?

Nah I hear ya. It's difficult to change. When you're ready, you will. People will respect that.
JT/OEC (Knowing this goes beyond a screenname for u. Don't rush it.)

Re: What is the origin of the name you use on the BlueBlood boards?
My screen name is the same as my off-line one.
Why???? Well, part of it is, for me at least, that if I'm gonna post something on-line, I might as well use my real name so I've no excuse to be any nastier than I'd otherwise be.
Part of it too is, I like to know when I get the glory as well as the blame for whatever I post.

Re: What is the origin of the name you use on the BlueBlood boards?
I was in a relationship for 11yrs, it all came to an abrupt end leaving me with nothing, i mean nothing, no home, job, and limited access to my daughter.
After that i changed and my friends said i was like the Tinman from Oz
I can be very cold and removed and often say what everyone else says in there heads, yep, before you ask, even when i should just bite my tongue
These days im on the yellow brick road and hope not to be Tinman forever.

Re: What is the origin of the name you use on the BlueBlood boards?
Again, ouch, and sorry you had to go through that, Tinman.
Good luck with your journey, and hope you find it to be mainly a pleasant one.

er.. ish. Keiko literally translates as 'training' and is one of the root nouns for practice or study (usually athletic rather than academic) - so keikoba is a gym hall, keiko chaku is a tracksuit, etc. It seems to have entered Japanese naming via the idea of a good student, such as in martial arts. For parental obedience I'd go more with juujun, but that's a more passive verb and most Americans can't pronounce the 'uu'. Keiko implies more energy; the control of power rather than the lack of it.
I've always thought it suits you though, not only as it sounds good and people can pronounce it properly, but the definition fits you.
