What's the most Gothic thing you have done recently??????????????????????????????????
I was just telling Forrest about my recent Gothic evening, so I thought I'd share and hopefully hear about some hilarious Gothic things you all have been doing too!
I was sitting out front my house, drinking red wine and smoking a clove, Depeche Mode was playing inside the house and I could hear it through the screen door. The breeze was blowing slightly, I was feeling especially angsty and moody, when all of the sudden it started to drizzle. Oh so Gothic-ly beautiful!

Took a photo kneeling in front of my own grave awhile back (I actually only accepted the plot later) Gonna um "christen" it when I go back home haha. :thumb:

I didn't buy it. It was offered to me by my Grandmother. One of my fondest memories from childhood was digging out (from dirt) an entire basement with my late grandfather. I reckon we may as well become dirt together.:1orglaugh :thumb:

Both stories strike me as being suitably Gothic, albeit in different ways.

um...the most gothic thing i've done lately...
...sleep until 2pm in the afternoon everyday for the last month (because i stayed up until 4a).

im not sure if this counts, but the other night I was driving at about 2AM and two bats were flying right next to me one was by my window, and that was prety cool

I never refer to myself as "goth" either beyond certain preferences.
For your viewing pleasure:
When humans destroy bats, an ecosystem is overrun by parasites. Bats feed mostly on insects (including those causing disease)

They are definitely good luck. I have a vial with guana (batshit) that I wear as a necklace. Have had good luck since I found it before moving.:thumb: I ordered it from either BCI or www.batworld.com , but neither seem to carry it now. Sux as there is a crack in the glass.

Wearing all black, I sat alone on a hill by the sports field at around midnight smoking a clove. The moon was a crescent and bats flew by one night too.

My apologies to the folks over at BAT haha. Are you a caver/spelunker? We have a lot of bats here in MN (especially down in the tunnels under the city) Pendants would probably sell. They were doing it more just for donations to one of those orgs. I wouldn't doubt you could mass produce em though:1orglaugh Guana supposedly is great fertilizer also.

i have decided that i like the way spider and cob webs look in my bedroom. and i refuse to clean them up by dusting. i often will stare at the network of webs next to my bed right before falling asleep.

Not bat shit, just the animals themselves, are considered to be lucky by the Chinese.
Two other uses for bat guano: when refined into ammonium nitrate, it can be either fertilliser or a component in TNT and other explosives.
Feed or kill. An interesting duality of purpose, no???

Hmm...the most Gothic thing I've done lately? HMMM...I regained one of my old personas and slicked my hair back, busted out my Trinity Blood Crucifix, all my rings, my skirt pants, five in platform shoes with the crosses on them, my DeathNote notebook, black make-up, and dawned my customized Reverend Coat once again :D ...then I went to school at ten in the morning dressed like that with "Vampires" by Godsmack and "Garnet" by D'espairs Ray blaring out of my car...which is black (Big Suprise). :D

hehe well I consider the guana sacred :) I respect bats. Feed or kill could just easily apply to another species as well.

Um, I am planning out my Halloween costume & then I am going to make it. Also planning a photo shoot with my one & only. My black cat Jombie (seriously the only guy who have ever appreciated me). I think we are going to play up the Emily strange thing as that is what I look like these days.
