What is your favorite of the 7 deadly sins?
Here's the definitions so you make sure to vote right!
LUST: Intense or unrestrained sexual craving.
GLUTTONY: Excess in eating or drinking.
SLOTH: Aversion to work or exertion; laziness; indolence.
WRATH: Forceful, often vindictive anger.
ENVY: A feeling of discontent and resentment aroused by and in conjunction with desire for the possessions or qualities of another.
PRIDE: An excessively high opinion of oneself; conceit.
I chose lust, cause it's the one I struggle with most.
Lust has gotta be my fave because 1) I too struggle with it and 2) I've got a character in my comic named Lust...and he's AWESOME

I want to say Lust, but honestly Lust plays second fiddle to Gluttony. Mmmmm, Gluttony.
Lust is my favourite, but I generally practise Sloth, Wrath and Pride far more than I should.
The Seven deadly sins are passe'. Lust does seem to poll well in the blue states. The red states are having a identity crisis: sloth mixed with with wrath makes for some great talk radio though!

The thing that bugs me about that crowd is the hypocrisy.

And, when you are caught, and DON'T end up going to federal "pound you in the ass" prison because you're a paid shill for Jesus Guns and Whiskey Neo Con Global New World Order Global Domination Inc., don't not only hairpin on a dime and call YOUR drug problem (which in other people, remember, was a moral failing) an ILLNESS and then proceed to THANK the legal system that basically looked the other way by going and getting scrips for Viagra in someone else' s name, basically committing pharmaceutical fraud. Again.
Don't rail against gay marriage, but then proceed to make a mockery of your own by racking up Frequent Fucker miles at the local cathouses, indulging in your fetish of being diapered and having someone wipe the shit off your asshole.
I chose Lust, but I wouldn't say its my "favorite" it's simply the one I find myself leaning toward most often. Lately it's about as far from the definition of favorite as one could imagine, I'd say I actually like greed the most but it doesnt play quite as big a part in my life..

Oh Sure. I can't say I seek such people out. This tends to come up during cab rides or at cafes. I'm an avid observer of folks. It generally doesn't bother me what they spew. They aren't people I speak to of a second time. I can no longer isolate a given talk show "rhetor" (I was briefly enamored with the study rhetoric as an undergrad and actually paid attention to this stuff then), but the fundamental appeal is always to pathos (emotion).Quote:
