I think certain sorts of knives and swords and daggers and other bladed weapons, especially exotic and unusual ones, can be sexy as anything. I don't actually own any though. I think they are one of those things it is hard to stop buying, once you get one. Do you own bladed weapons? Whatcha got? Post pics if you can :rryumy:

you've all seen my baby, the dagger thats just about the right size to be a short sword on me. I have the FAKK 2 from Heavy Metal, Rob's got his sword cane which is wicked sharp and illegal in many states. I want a bowie knife so badly, something about a nice one is just effing sexy. my friend Damien is quite a collector and he trades me pics of his knives for pics of Fluffy and Puffy. but then i got this thing about knives and other such sharp things....

Of course, I own some bladed weapons. And I'm going to include my sword cane, even though that's more of a stiletto and not an outright blade.
Almost all of them are temper and battle-ready, except that I hope to never have need of them. I don't teach any more so they've mostly laid idle, waiting for talented hands to take them on adventure...
Perhaps one day when I put down my pen, and then my scalpel, I'll take up my swords again. :angel-smi
Too many to go into, most are practical blades, but i do have several decorative swords and blades.
The only ones that the lil woman dosent like are the swords hanging by the bed.

back on topic though, i have a decorative axe that is perfectly weighted, nice and sharp, and just covered in unnecessary pointy bits. very nice. looking at a couple nw fancy stabbies to get, including a very pretty blade that looks like it was designed to be puerely practical, made with a plain blade, plain handle, then began emitting an aura of evil. yumz.

Being in the SCA I come across so many types of bladed weapons I couldnt tell you what they all were. I love watching live steel fighting, it excites me and turns me on in some primal way...
I also when I was in my 20's practiced with knives and swords, have plenty of scars reminding me of how much I can bleed when stuck..
I have a couple knives, a serviceable one that I take with me everywhere I go in case I need it, it comes in handy and makes me feel a smidgeon more safe, the release is smooth I can flick it open pretty damn quick as I have been practicing a lot.
I also worked in a magical book store in Seattle that sold swords and assorted athames, knives and other bladed weapons.. It seems they are all around me..
I have none...yet. But I had a friend, a Japanese chick, that actually MAKES blades of all shapes and sizes, and a lot of very unique looking ones. Her personal favorites were finger blades, you know, the really thin ones that attach to your fingers/hands?

The only bladed weapon I use is a knife I use for work, for opening boxes and cutting shrink wrap. Somewhere in the house is an ornamental Kris Knife, I think. It has a carved tiger head on the handle, the blade is blunt and wavy, with etching on it.
I have a couple of Franklin Mint knives with Wolf Heads on the hilt.
As knives are a tad frowned upon in the UK, you can't really buy them too easily nowadays.
