the one, and I mean one album you never get sick of.....
what is the one album you never get sick of? the one you can listen to no matter what mood you are in.......
mine is messiah's 21st jesus. every time I hear it I get all jazzed up. even if I'm in a bad mood or really depressed it will cheer me up. I can't help but smile whenever I hear it; it holds so much positive energy for me. it hasn't left my regular rotation since I got it used for six bux(dude what a score, its out of print) at hollywood amoebasix years ago. before that I had a tape a friend made of it that I'd had for some eight years that had finally bit the dust...... I've even danced to it at work in l.a.
I think I'll put it in right now actually.
so, what's yours? you can only pick one, no either/or stuff.

Re: the one, and I mean one album you never get sick of.....
I've gotten very used to not listening to proper full albums. There are bands I like better and certainly songs I like better, but as an album I always come back to SOM First and Last and Always.

Re: the one, and I mean one album you never get sick of.....
Mine would have to be megadth's untied abominations. It helps through alot of the really bad shit that happens and It's something my brain can digest and stimulate. I have very found memories of this album.

I'd have to say.... gosh, there are so many... but Pitbull gets my vote...

Re: the one, and I mean one album you never get sick of.....
I think the last time I really listened to full albums was when grunge was popular. Many nights listening to Soundgarden, Helmut, and Nirvana albums. Now, it just seems that no matter what newer album I listen to from any band, I just don't like the "whole" album (Can you still call it an album, when there really is no such things as "albums" anymore? I always thought albums were just another term for records). Anyways, It's a "downloading of singles" life for me.

The Meteors--In Heaven, its the first cd i ever bought with my own money and its my favorite. i love it so much that i bought it again when it got scratched even tho i had all the songs riped on my computer.

Re: the one, and I mean one album you never get sick of.....
I can't pick just one. But if I did have to..for desert island purposes.. it would probably be A Perfect Circle: Mer de Noms. I don't even like rock, but it's one of those you don't skip a track on and all the songs are well written.

Re: the one, and I mean one album you never get sick of.....
its really hard to just choose just one for me as well...but if i had to i'd go with: Coal Chamber - Dark Days

I'd start a "OK has to get naked in this thread" thread but I'm sure the powers that be will slap my knuckles.

No worries, Voltaire. I made that remark/joke about a week too late for people to associate it with the OK/AK commentary...

Boston's great, but I go a bit heavier. I'll have to go with Iced Earth- "Burnt Offerings"

Re: the one, and I mean one album you never get sick of.....
that one from Time Life that had all the new age shit on it, like that band Enigma. Anyone else remember that? it was called Pure Moods.
Or even better, the butt rock hair metal album of love ballads, Monster Ballads. the tagline was "they taught us how to live, they taught us how to love."
oh, the 90's....
Ps. thanks to amazon dot com for helping me find the names of these cd's, which I could not remember off the top of my head.
