Blue Blood photog and renown scribe Richard Kadrey asked imagine you're going to be executed in the morning. You have access to the largest film library in the world. What movie would you watch? Why?
My answer is that the last movie I'd watch before my execution would be either a video of whatever I did to get executed or maybe Repo Man or SLC Punk. SLC Punk in particular is already about my wrong future, so, if I were to be executed . . .
I'd probably watch 300 so I'd be looking forward to my death.
Well, just FYI, Alex Cox is now filming Repo Chick. A new installment in the Repo Films (Repo Man II was a comic).

I would have to see a crime movie, which usually means Way of the Gun. If I am gonna be executed, i might as well die feeling like a criminal.

300 was just plain fucking horrible. Took and actually cool topic, and turned it into something best wiped off the bottom of one's shoe.
I can already tell from the trailer's I've seen that Watchmen is getting the same stupid eMpTyV homo-erotic music video treatment, rubber abs and all.

I was trying to think of what I would actually want to watch in my last hours and all I could come up with was "The Last Unicorn", just cause it is a happy movie.

Well, I'd say Bergman's "Seventh seal".
It's one of my favourite movies ever, then it's gloomy and it features Death as a character, so it's kinda in the mood for a capital execution :rolleyes:
