Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
So... I'm kinda new here obviously... I know there's a few photographers on this forum, but what about artists? I wanna see some art inspired by the Blue Blood Beauties.
Now, most of my pin up art has at least a boob hanging out, and I'm guessing no one here's gonna be offended by that, but I wanna check before I go posting up risque art.

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
what is this "risque" you speak of?

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
I've seen it, it's really pretty cool. hey spike check your PMs here.

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
Alright, well here's a couple of the safer ones. Used Jezebelle Bond as a model for these two, though I usually try and change it so it doesn't look like the model.

This one was done about three years ago, but it's still a personal favorite of mine, inspired by Voltaire. Shows some nip but it's still fairly safe compared to some of the others.

Mystoo> Thanks!
Oy, I have a hundred unfinished sketches sitting on my desk, waiting to be inked and colored. I've got a tee shirt design commission for the gun shop down the strip from my shop, using Jezebelle as a model for that one. I love her bubble butt.
Voltaire> I have another couple of you in that unfinished pile too... And I wanna put you on a snowboard to hang in the shop...
This doesn't really look like her, but I was looking at a pic of Nicotone when I drew this tattoo up:

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
WOW! your work is awesome! ever been inspired of Scar13? if i had your talent i would paint her sitting on a chair, spreading legs - but from behind! to see her genius back tattoo!!!

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
Register> Yeah she's gorgeous. There's a few of her poses I'd like to do something with, but thus far I haven't used her for art pieces. Been SSSSssoooooo busy and backed up on the art lately, but sometime in the future I'd like to draw her.
-
Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
I wont lie, I'd love to see the unfinished pile. you'll have to take a pic of the snowboard for me.
-
Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
Voltaire> Just tried my hand at digitally coloring a sketch of you I started a long time ago, 'cept I tried to do it without the lines. Failed miserably... but that's the beauty of digital, nothing's permanent. And someday if I ever get around to painting my snowboard, I'll definitely send you a pic.

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
Your work is fantastic! I so wish I could draw...

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
Reena> I really don't believe it's any kind of "god given" talent. It just takes practice, and TONS of it. I throw away probably 3 or 4 sketches for every piece I finish. Get yourself the book "Drawing ont the Right Side of the Brain," by Betty Edwards, it changed the way I look at the world and help me improve my drawing skills.

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls

-
Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
Yeah, I changed the website and redid it so the links here don't work anymore. Try this: http://www.khaosink.com/artists.html#3

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
Hmm interestingly that page wouldn't work for me. Maybe I'm not meant to partake in the awesomeness

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls

I like your art and style Spike! :)

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
I finally got to take a look. I really like it. Sweet but very sexy.
-
Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
Aww, thanks ladies. Haven't drawn anything new in a few months since I started building the shop, but now that the shop's open hopefully I can get back in the swing of staying up all night sketching. I'm out of practice!
-
Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
I hear that Spike. I have a BFA in Fine Art and Printmaking and mixed media and am getting back into sketching and just creating again. I've been focused more on photography stuff but I love sketching, especially late at night too. :)

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
I just learned what Printmaking was during my last semester of undergrad studies as I had an art major friend struggling to meet portfolio deadlines. She'd always be carving out her little design tiles during the Astronomy course we shared. That takes the patience of a saint... I would lose my mind. If I had any artistic talent, that is.

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
Oh I know what you mean. My favorite printmaking is etching with metal plates and acid. Also I design silkscreen tshirts. I used to have a shop but I moved. Its just sucks that printing presses are so expensive to rent
-
Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
I just got some of my art screen printed on tee shirts for the tattoo shop. They gave me a tour of the factory, what an amazing process!

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
Great artwork. Love the Red Riding Hood one. But then, I would. :D
-
Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
Oh very cool. Yeah when I first started silkscreening, I hated it. lol But then I got to create stuff I liked, I became addicted. The only problem I ever had was that it made my back worse, I have a bad back but it was a blast. I'll try to find to find some pieces of mine to post. :) I used to sell paintings at tattoo shops on Haight St. in San Francisco. You should def try it Spike. :) xoxo

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
Dancer> If I ever get the TIME to sit down and finish some of the projects I have going, you'll like the new Red Riding hood I have in the works. Same concept, but sexier.
Ruby> I seems like fun, but I don't have the time or the space to try silkscreening. If I was going to try something new, I'd probably wanna do airbrushing. But I know what you mean, you have to do art for yourself. If you just do it for other people then it becomes a job and you get burned out. I have to find a balance between drawing custom tattoos for other people and doing art for myself. But yeah if you've got some pieces to share I'd definitely love to see them, post 'em up here!

Re: Art Inspired by BlueBlood Girls
I hear that. Another way to get your art out there is go to Pornsaints.org. I'm a model for them and they pair alternative and adult models with artists and it's great exposure. Check them out and also you can see a post on my blog recently about my paintings done of me at http://violentlysexy.blogspot.com xo
