Some friends and I have been trying to think of a band name for almost a year, but we cant think of anything we all agree on, so Im going to throw some names Ive thought of and see what you guys think, and contribute, but if you dont want us to use the name you give SAY SO.

I have thought of: Paranatralis, Old Kingdom, The Rage, Parasitica, The Sorrowful, I Am, Skullcap, Broken Arrow, Shadows, Dusks Army, Claymore, Disreputable, Black Hearted Hero, Seventh Circle, The Furies, Evil Angel, Ark Angel and more that i will try to remember

I like Old Kingdom. I don't know why, it just stands out as being more original and having a little mystique. Black Hearted Hero is good too. even with the alliteration it has more potential for a cross over band, and doesn't just sound like every other three word metalcore outfit.

We havent been able to get togther enough to have our own sound but some of the lyrics Im working on are :

I dont want to do just one type of music, like just power metal or industrial, but for tat song im thinking simple, thick guitar/bass lines with a bit of distortion on the vocal (it depends if I sing it or not).
The vocals are going to be slow, with a pause every few lines.
I think it could be rather "dark", wich is why I want to do the vocals.

No, just set it up so I copuld get a hold of some friends whose numbers I lost.

I have made a decision.
I want to try something new.
I know that alot of people here have some musical experiance, and I dont want to wait til my friends decide whats goin on before I play with more people than just me.
So I was thinking that we start up a my space music page thing and we each play our respective instruments, mix them ogther and distribute a copy to whoever helps out and post them so others can listen in.
I want you guys to pitch in, cos I cant think of everything and want people who will actively contribte.
So anyone who wants in post here or PM me or wateva.
I dont want someone who is going to order everyone around, I want everyone to be a part of this, and speak up if you have an idea, but at the sme time listen to others.
I am willing to put "Black Hearted Hero" (the song that ive put here) up for a first track, so let me know what you think.

Part of the beauty of music is vibing off of other ppl's energy, and allowing it to coalesce into notes and rhythms.

I admire your attempt to work with what you have. But possibly patience may be your best course of action.

I'm not discouraging anyone who would like to collaborate on this, I'm just giving you realistic advice on how the organic process usually follows.
