I have a special place in my heard for Uwe Boll.

Anyone can make a bad film. I usually have Netflix prove this to me once a week. Troma Studios is built on the idea that you don't even have to try.

But when you have pretty substantial budgets, sure fire titles to draw from and occasionally academe award winning actors of the highest caliber and still make an incomprehensible wretched film.
I am almost tempted to send him the money just to see what monstrosity he makes next.

Of course then he would put my name on the film. Maybe he would do better if for $50 he would give someone you hate producer credits.

Uwe Boll is the douche responsible for shitty movie adaptations of video games that share little to nothing in common with the game, like, it might have one of the main characters... and that's about it. He rejected a script for Alone in the Dark because "it didn't have enough car chases" but I don't even remember any car chases in the game. He was also responsible for two Bloodrayne movies (and appearantly there's a third one planned), and House of the Dead.

In the Name of the King wasn't too horrible, but I never played the game. I kind of enjoyed Postal just because the whole thing made no sense and, not to give away the ending or anything, everyone died by the end of the movie. He also at one point claimed to have gotten the rights to make a Metal Gear Solid movie, until the Kanomi boss immediately went online to correct that thought. And Blizzard has also refused to let him anywhere near the World of Warcraft movie that's going to be made.

Dude sucks, I'd almost be willing to pay him $50 just to make sure my name didn't go in the credits.

Someone who wants actual indie cred can finance their own fucking artistic experiments with money from their own day jobs. I am sick to death of whiners who complain about the man stopping them from doing what they want and then want to put their hand in someone else's pocket. Want artistic freedom? Take the damn risk yourself.
