just saw a piece on the news tonight about a father of three who was shot in the back six count em SIX times by a phoenix police officer after his wife called 911 to inofrm them that there was a man who broke into their house and instructed the operator on three separate coherent occassions
"my husband has a gun-don't shoot. him"

after her husband was shot, the officer in question then made a call out on his walkie saying
"I fucked up. I heard screaming and opened fire"
to which his superior was recorded as saying in response
"don't worry about it, i've got your back."

the family now has a multi million dollar lawsuit against the phoenix police department.
