It's That Time of Year Again... (Pics)

Wooo! Weather's finally improved enough that one can go outdoors dressed halfway interesting without coming back in halfway frozen, so it was time to pick up the camera again.

Simple shoot to kick things off; no big theme, just Izta with her not-so-new-but-never-before-pictured hair and a slight excess of our more recently finished every-day clothes/accessories.

the lighting is very natural looking for an outdoors shoot, which is usually harder to do then it would seem. good job.

Yeah, I shopped around a bit. Lighting conditions were excellent that day; we had hours of just that wonderful homogeneous white-greyish sky that makes everything so easy on us people with crappy cameras and worse lighting solutions. In the first pic you can see the sun breaking through for a moment, but that was just long enough for a picnic break.

Cool. The base thing? We added the decorations on this one ourselves, but the shirt came from a fleamarket, so that could've come from anywhere.

Hmm... so much I want to comment on. Most of what she's wearing are things I don't usually like, but somehow -all- of it looks good. These shots just -work-, completely.

Is that a UV tattoo on her arm? If so, can we get a blacklight shot of it sometime?

Pose in the last picture is great.

Heh, sweet. Maybe it's because she - both of us, actually - wear this kind of stuff daily. It's more intuitive to us than the themes of other shoots we've done, and we've noticed in the past that this makes it easier for us to like and keep liking the results. Of course, there's another obvious explanation for that...

It's not a UV tattoo btw; just a scratchification that's about a week too old to be clearly visible. I redo it semi-regularly, but it's not meant to be a serious body mod.

LA - it's an eye with spiky eyelashes, a complicated spear-thingy piercing through it vertically, and some thorny vines making a heart shape. Maybe some other stuff; it changes everytime I redraw it.

Kess - Well, most of it is synthetic and wool dreads we made; so theoretically, yes you could. Your own hair looks more than adequate for having them braided into it. Try it sometime.
